Kapitel 6: Plan D.

"You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singin.

I need to find you. I've got to find you.

You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me.

I need to find you. I've got to find you."

As Dracul sat on the ledge of his balcony overlooking the entrance of the academy, he could not help but sing in his beautiful voice one of the all-time greatest songs dropped by The Brothers Jonas and Lovato of Demi that was ever bestowed upon mankind. In his opinion and probably Schmidt's (despite the lack of EDM), it was a true banger.

Though, not only a banger, but also incredibly appropriate, as he watched the black 1950s Cadillac Hearse make its way through the gate and up the drive to the front of the academy's entrance.

He could feel the voice that guided him like a light through the darkest of tunnels riding in that stylish car. He felt...anxious.

Dracul nearly fell off the ledge at that startling realization, contemplating for a moment if his current actions were truly such a good idea.

He felt vulnerable.

Even at his weakest, in either life, he never once truly felt vulnerable. He simply kept on doing whatever he was doing and allowed the chips to fall where they may. However, this was different.

He took in a slow, deep breath, and blew it out quickly. Resolving himself to embrace what may come. After all, despite his experience in the physical aspects of a relationship, he never actually allowed it to go beyond that in all his time. Relationships mean consideration and compromise. Two aspects of life that he does not exactly embrace. Therefore, when it comes to experience, he found himself only slightly less lacking than his paramour, who just stepped out of....

Dracul instantly swung his legs over the railing, landed with a light step onto the balcony, and before the black clad, mascara eyed, lovely braided twin-tailed hair styled beauty could attempt to close the door on her parents, he was already zipping through shadows, doors, and walls, to barge into the Principal's office and make his presence known.

"Principal Weems, I apologize for my lack of manners, but the door was opened (it was not, they both knew it was not, but neither commented on it). I have decided that from now on I shall attend class on a regular basis. Inform your staff that I will audit a few in the coming days in order to decide my schedule. I will also be engaging in one of these mandatory clubs of yours. I believe beekeeping should be best. The young Eugene does seem ever so lonely in his noble hobby."

Principal Weems sat behind her large desk with a look of utter stupefaction.

He knew that his rushed words and seemingly random nonsense must have seemed like, well nonsense, to her ears. However he had already thought this out.

Originally, he was only planning on seeing the adorable one when she was not in class, and he decided to approach her, however with just one look, that plan went out the window in favor of the less than desirable, Plan D.

Titled - Operation Hover

Yep, that's right. The Vampire Prince of Darkness, Vlad II (the second) Dracul, The True Impaler, has chosen the most honorable path that only the bravest could walk of Bidening. He would literally just be there. Which is also why he immediately made his way to his current location.

Let The Bidening commence.

"Mr. Dresden," Principal Weems voiced out, having recovered from her initial surprise at seeing one of her most elusive students suddenly barging into her office. "I am pleased to see you finally taking an interest in your education. Nevermore Academy has much to offer to those who are willing to participate."

He could see the, for some odd reason, smug smile tug at the corner of her near permanently smiling face, though he could only guess as to what she was thinking, since he had acquired more than enough information to retire his prying into the minds of others, thus stopping to enjoy the challenge of not having everything laid at his feet. But if he had to guess, it was probably something along the lines of him finally being able to see the beauty in her beloved school. He did not care.

In truth, the only reason he allowed her to prattle on as much as he did was so that he could spread out his time in her office, however there was something about the woman that he couldn't quite place, that he found particularly annoying. He often had to stop himself from chucking her out of a window whenever she crossed his sight.

"Yes, yes, your educational institution has infiltrated into the depths of my mind, unlocking an ardent desire to consume knowledge in its entirety. I don't know, I don't know why, but I can only applaud its prowess." He gave his own, better, smirk in kind, engaging in an incredibly slow and drawn out clap.

It was worth it to see her eyebrow and one side of her mouth produce that spasm they did whenever he decided to grace her with his presence.

Perhaps that's what he found so annoying about her.

No matter how often she was rebuked, she refused to believe that eventually she could not win him over to the side of adolescent productivity. I mean, inducing someone to develop a tick in their face in the span of a week has to give even the most devout followers of academia hesitation and reconsideration. But no, not Principal Weems. She is steadfast and quick to recover her damaged ego. He could respect it, as long as it was not pointed in his direction. Then, it was through the window you go...eventually. She still has a purpose to serve, and that purpose just arrived.

*Knock Knock*

Two bland knocks followed by the opening of the door, without waiting for permission. Just his style, though only this time, it was her.

'Finally.' Dracul's only thought as she walked into the office, followed by her family.

He sat on the edge of Weems desk, watching her approach. His eyes locked on hers and hers locked onto him, neither giving away a single thought from their expressions, until...

"If that would be all mister Dresden, I have another appoi..."

"That is Mister, with a capital M, I can hear the difference (Who got the reference?)," Dracul interrupted his wayward principal's nonsense, "And I do not remember us having an appointment. I walked in, said my piece. Therefore, it is only logical that I be allowed to walk out, also at my leisure." Eyes still locked onto Wednesday's, only as he spoke his head began to tilt ever so slightly, his eyes drew narrow, and a half smile began to form on his face that he was certain would give any normal lass collywobbles at the very least, and a full-blown heart attack at the very worst. However, Wednesday just stared. No matter, he felt no embarrassment.

With an immediate recovery, Dracul continued...

"Luckily for us all, I am done here." He dropped the smile from his face. Gracefully, with a Capital G, stood from the desk, and made his way forward, directly in front of Wednesday Addams, who continued to show not a single thing. He stopped before her, his head held high with a loose posture, exuding a sense of pride and solemnity as he narrowed his eyes looking down at her. "What is your name?" He questioned in a tone dripping with royal authority.

The silence was deafening, but he would not relent.

After what felt like an eternity of no one uttering a word, "Wednesday," was all she said, as her dead eyes looked up into his, without bothering to raise her head.

His eyes traveled up and down her person, as if he were evaluating her worth, "Hm, you certainly do appear full of woe."

He may have cheated a bit, seeing as how he had long been informed by her that the poem was her namesake, however a Prince feels no shame and knows only to win, win, win, win, win, fuck everything else, win, win, win ,win (don't know the name of the song). And it turned out to be worth it. Finally, her face displayed something other than detachment, even if it did not go past her eyes, however her parents certainly were an open book, or her father, at least. He seemed very pleased someone got the reference and the smile which graced her mother's beautiful face told the same story.

"Okay, Wednesday," He pronounced grandly, refusing to allow a single eye in the room to wander from his personage, "from this moment forth, I will be your stalker."

*Skkkrrrp*

Somehow, whatever was playing on the record player chose that moment to malfunction as the completely pretentious box skidded to a hal...oh, there was no record player. That sound came from the mind of one Vla..Dracul. It appeared Dracul was undergoing a slight malfunction.

He knew that in order to proceed forward with Operation Hover, he would definitely have to make his presence known as someone who, no matter what, would not leave her alone and essentially pester her until he wore her down and gained her friendship. He knew he would eventually, however that does not mean that his fragile heart was able to handle the pure cringe that literally vomited from his mouth. There were so many more elegant ways to go about declaring his intentions, however that one was the most fun in his mind, along with him knowing how much she always wanted someone to stalk her. He would just do it in a less anonymous way.

Imagination and reality can sometimes fuck each other over. Case in point. It sounded so much better in his head, even with his voice, some things just don't work.

If only all things supernatural were not suppressed by whatever "powers" that be, he could rely on Edward Cullen to pave the way to making his declaration work. Oh well, he would introduce the world to culture, eventually, and then they could look back at that moment and deadpan together.

With that proclamation, without sparing a single person in the room a second glance, Dracul Dresden made his, less than leisurely exit, and immediately set his path towards finding a stake for his heart. Only through death can he redeem such an affront to all that he was supposed to be.

However, before he could commit seppuku, he stepped into the shadows and made his way back into the office. He had no time for dying. There was a girl to be wooed. Only lesser creatures focus on the past.

He stepped into the office and out of the shadows, not a single person able to perceive his presence.

He leaned back against the edge of the desk, watching from the side as Weems, walked around the point of allowing acceptance. As if the girl were not already accepted into the school.

Then, he heard that she would be undergoing therapy sessions in Jericho.

Dracul saw the makings of a date spot. All according to keikaku.

Weems oh so graciously informed Wednesday of her living arrangements, which just so happened to be her Mother's former domicile, as if she could not discern the tension between the two.

Luckily, it was Ophelia Hall. Wednesday loves a good tragedy.

They finished with their flapping and made their way to meet her roommate, who turned out to be the very young lady who gave Dracul his introductory tour of the Academy, and one of the few people to whom he had actually spoken to, Enid Sinclair.

'That is a very fortunate development,' Dracul could not help but think. 'Enid is exactly what Wednesday requires in a friend. A true opposite. Her contemporary black and white, to Enid's colorful vomit. One dead and pessimistic. The other full of life and optimistic. The beginning of a beautiful friendship.'

Dracul followed them, shrouded in his mist, enjoying watching Wednesday's reactions to her new roommate.

'Excellent,' he exclaimed in his own mind. 'Their first meeting went off without a hitch. Wednesday, seems to be completely repulsed by all things Enid. Well, now that they have finally made it to the quad, which is not actually in the shape of a quad, it is time for me to make my second impression.'

"Giving the new girl one of your patented tours Enid?"

"Yeep!" Enid jumped, swerving around to take in Dracul's greatness.

Wednesday's reaction was small, but he still caught her tense immediately at the surprise at his appearing behind her without her being able to notice.

All noise in the quad immediately ceased.

All who were present stopped to do the same as Enid and take in the moment of greatness.

Dracul honestly could not blame them.

For most, it was the first time he had allowed them to see him and for a few it was only the second or third. However, never had any except a small handful heard him speak.

He knew his voice drew attention.

It was just too majestic.

"D! What brings you out here?" Enid questioned Dracul excitedly, using the nickname that she practically forced upon him when they first met. He would never confirm nor deny his acceptance of the nickname, especially not when his reasonings were completely untoward, to others, not to him. After all, by his own estimates, that was a capital D. His capital D deserved to cheered, loudly and proudly.

As he stood there in his silky all black attire, giving off the impression that he did not notice the attention he drew, he noticed Bianca Barclay stand from where she was seated on the fountain and Xavier Thorpe put down his doodling supplies as they noticed him, not noticing them.

When he wanted, it was nearly impossible to not feel him fill up a space. He did not do this through any energy nor magic manipulations. It was just a natural byproduct of cultivated superiority, gained from years of standing at the top. The peons had been attempting to get to know him in one way or another since his arrival. He eluded them completely, however now he would be joining the populace along with the cutie in front of him who refused to turn to acknowledge his presence. He knew it was deliberate.

"I'm here for one reason and one reason only, Enid." Dracul looked from Enid to the back of Wednesday's head, a predatory smile gracing his features, that could only be seen if one looked very close. He released a speck of bloodlust directed entirely at one person.

She turned her head and glared at him as if he had stepped on her foot with metal cleats.

'That's better.' He thought to himself.

"I'm here for Wednesday Addams." Dracul declared clearly. His voice effortlessly carrying throughout the quad and perhaps beyond. "Mi pequeña muerte," the last part, still spoken at the same volume, however only she could hear the words, and he made sure she knew, only she could hear them.

'Perfect.'
