(A/N: Sorry y'all. Don't be mad at me too much. Been busy and was reading up on some spicy content. Horus's sexual encounters won't begin until after the Set War arc. In fact, I'll just delete those three. His alias has been changed from Omni to Imnt or Amunet meaning "The Hidden One".)

"Thank you, King Bashenga for taking care of me while I was unconscious. As for my name? I am Imnt."
///
King Bashenga was shocked and truly had his eyes opened. To think the person from his vision would be a kid. Two days ago, while hunting a deer, Bashenga had a vision in the middle of pouncing on his prey. The vision revealed a person shrouded in darkness falling from the sky at the northeastern border.
The person opened their golden eyes and said "I will become the shield of Wakanda". That is when the vision ends. Leaving Bashenga mystified and his prey gone. He consulted the elders and they agreed it was a vision from Bast.
Thus, he and his warriors decided to investigate the validity. Lo and behold, a person did fall from the sky; a kid that is.
Amazed at seeing Horus's body heal at a slow, but visible pace, Bashenga took him back to Wakanda and placed him in the medical ward where he finally awakened two days later.
{A/N: I'll start calling him Imnt during the WW2 era. That'll be his call sign.}

(Horus POV)
I'll admit that "Imnt" does have a powerful ring to it but that shouldn't warrant him kneeling in front of me on one knee.
'Maybe when the advent of heroes begins, I'll just make that my hero name too,' I say in my mind, mooting.
"Say, King Bashenga, you're a king, right? Why are you kneeling before me?" I ask him.
Getting up, Bashenga is smiling at me for some reason.
"Imnt, we have received a vision from our goddess Bastet depicting the shadow of a person falling from the sky. When it awoke, it said that it will become the shield of Wakanda'. You fell from the sky. Therefore, you must be the shield of Wakanda!" Bashenga says excitedly.
'Who the hell sent him a vision of me falling? I know it wasn't Bast. She doesn't even know what happened to me after I had gone through the portal. It must have been my grandfather. He is the oldest god in our pantheon and surely the Top 3, if not the strongest of the Elder Gods the Demiurge created. Even Gaea and Oshtar couldn't defeat the corrupted elder gods.
'Damnit! This is outside my expectations. Whatever happens in this time of growth will just have to. And at least I don't have to be worried about coming up with an identity.
Let me go ahead and take a look at the established Wakanda of this era,' says Horus in his mind.
"Ah, yes. This is correct. I had been engaged in a battle with an avatar of another pantheon for three days. Eventually, the battle came to a close with our last strikes. With him leaving me gravely wounded and me leaving my opponent dead, I fell from the sky.
I am still greatly weakened and will need more time to recover my full strength. Thank you, King Bashenga. Do you have a way to speak to Lady Bast? I will commune with her some time later. I wish to leave this room and explore the lands."
Increasing my processing speed, I came up with this lie simply because it was a great way to conceal how I can heal and possess my level of strength while getting stronger.
"By Bast! What the elder said is true. The gods gave avatars. Capable of welding the power of the gods. Great being, which avatar of Egypt are you?" Bashenga asks with a tint of fanaticism in his eyes.
Now that I think about it, Bast never had an avatar. She only had the Black Panther which isn't even her power.
For this lie to work, I'll have to choose Bast as my goddess.
"Yes, it is true that I am an avatar of a god. Who? Heh, you should know who since she gave u the vision." Putting on a fake "you know" smirk, Bashenga is shocked. This man in front of them is indeed the Goddess's avatar which means he is incomparably stronger than he is.
"P-please forgive my insolence, Lady Bast. I did not know it was you. How can I be of assistance?"
Not really being shocked by this tribe of people who honor customs and traditions, I just reply.
"Amazing! King Bashenga you figured out that fast? Well, no matter. Let us go and get started with the tour."
Getting up, I immediately walk out of the medical room. Expecting huts and whatnot, I am stunned at the sight in front of me. Before me is a landscape that could be considered modern-day from the modern day. Glad for the vantage point atop a high mountain, I kept gazing at the view.
High-rise buildings lined the horizon for a distance of about 2 kilometers. Some buildings are similar to skyscrapers with pointed tops. Others had dome-shaped tops and flat tops. Five of them are the tallest in view.
Each building has the heads of a gorilla, lion, hyena, crocodile, and panther. These heads represent the different cults in which the Wakandans worship their gods; the Panther goddess being the primary cult. Many other smaller buildings had also lined the distance.
On the far left was a field of green and beige that was cut off and divided into squares that separated different plants. This one small section of the 3-kilometer agricultural field had shimmering purple lights surrounding the plants within them.
Looking further, I can see that they look heart-shaped.
'Wow! The early Wakandans had a field this large of heart-shaped herbs. Are they nuts? What if a random Wakanda decides he or she wants to become the black panther? Ah, never mind. I'll just have to go and see for myself.'
Turning to my left, King Bashenga puts his hand on my shoulder.
"You may be wondering why our kingdom is so advanced. The great goddess Bast granted us some knowledge from Thoth relating to architecture and many other things related to the infrastructure of a kingdom. It is nothing compared to the land of the gods, but it is a marvel among mortals."
With a nod, I turn back to the scenery and say, "I wish to see the kingdom which my goddess has made."
I made my voice sound enthusiastic and worshipful so that they believe my being the panther avatar to be true.
Eventually, we ended up visiting the different sections of Wakanda. To say it was a marvel, would be an understatement. This version of Wakanda was of ancient Egyptian architecture but with a tinge of modernity.
A lot of the houses seemed to be made of bricks and wood. Resembling a brick cabin house. However, the bricks were white and limestone.
The training grounds, if that's what you will call it, were a giant concrete field half a mile long. Different areas within the grounds were lined with wooden weapons of various kinds used by the ancient Africans.
Other areas were padded with soft material most likely used for wrestling and hand-to-hand combat. The section to the far north seemed as though it was an obstacle course with a rock climbing wall, ropes, muddied ground, and different mechanisms for traps.
People are seen all over the place on these grounds.
'Wow. I'm impressed with how advanced their training regimen and methods are for this period. I'll have to read the Book of Thoth when I get the chance after he writes it.'
"King Bashenga, I am quite impressed with how advanced your kingdom is. It is similar to the visions the goddess had shown me of her time in Heliopolis, the realm of the gods. Though, your kingdom is simple compared to their majesty."
With a light chuckle, Bashenga says, "That is a very true statement. I wish our goddess would bestow a vision of her home to me as she has shown you. Maybe I could further advance our people. But, alas, we cannot always get what we want. Would you like to see the buildings of the Cults?" Bashenga asks me with a face full of excitement.
"Ah, sure. Are they the buildings with the animal heads? I figured they held some sort of importance. Lead the way."
{A/N: This is the overall view of the city. A mixture of modern and ancient architecture.)
///
After traveling for about 20 minutes, we get to the main buildings in the capital city. I see that each building has their own shape unique to each animal.
Panther building: tall, dark, and regal.
Crocodile building: sharp and square
Lion building: dazzling and light
Gorilla building: strong and stable.
Hyena building: quirky and soft
After touring each building, I can see that Thoth put extra emphasis on the panther building. Especially with him knowing that it is the leader of all the cults of Wakanda.
Finally, after spending 4 hours walking, touring inside the buildings, and meeting each of the tribe leaders, we get to the entrance of the Altar of Bast which is located underground inside the royal palace.
The entrance to the altar starts a small bunker-like building with black metal doors which has gold markings welded into them.
This building is what he proclaims will be the hall of the ancestors. Taking this into account and remembering a few things about BP: Wakanda Forever, I suggested that Bashenga keep a few heart-shaped herbs in a secret place and have them maintained only by the king's direct advisor.
'Later on, I'll just have to go there and enhance those with my evolution divinity. Only after I successfully master it though.'
Not thinking any further about this subject, I watch as Bashenga is overjoyed and happy to take a suggestion from his goddess's avatar.
Calming down, Bashenga says, "Young Imnt, our goddess's altar in which we can communicate with her when dealing with the next Black Panther is behind this door. It leads to the Hall of the Ancestors. At one point, you will come across a river filled with crocodiles, pay them no mind.
They only react if you act poorly to their appearance. The god Sobek is connected to them and will be alerted of your presence to verify who you are. We cannot enter from this point due to there not being a need for the ceremony. Express our love to goddess Bast."
Chuckling a bit and hearing about Sobek essentially spying on all who come and goes in this area, I just nod my head and enter.
