Kapitel 41: Chapter 38

B: Jess woke up to her name being said. "ISAAC!!" She cried out when she saw him. She struggled against her restraints, but it was no use. She hung her head and sighed. When Isaac fell, she looked up to see a male vampire behind him. She glared at him and tried to lunge. When the female emerged, she grew even more angry. She struggled more. She wanted this vampire dead and her little pet male.

She listened to them talk about Isaac and she grunted in frustration. "DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH HIM!" She growled out. The female kissed her cheek and she cringed. She was talking about a game. She was not going to play this fucking game with her. That was until the male hurt Isaac.

"ALRIGHT!" She yelled with tears streaming down her face. "I was angry he was bossing me around. I hate being told what to do by people in the same rank as me. I snapped. I have anger problems and I went to get help for them, but no one is perfect. Only God is." She said looking at Isaac with tears running down her face.

I: "Jessie. That sounds awfully sad, my sweet. I want you to know that as far as I see, he truly doesn't deserve you." The vampires hissed a little, her fangs protruding as she looked at Zack. "Did you know, he kissed me? It was so soft, and gentle. Jessie. This man that you are fighting for right now, this man that you went all the way to Paris to get some personal help, guidance. This man...has betrayed you in a way that should not go unpunished. I am a woman myself, and I have spent many nights wondering where my lover is, but you know what? I don't let it get to me."

She sighs and stands, slowly walking around Isaac, her hand caressing his strung-up body. "Men are animals, Jessie. You are young, beautiful, and naive. This dog has treated you like a child, he has kissed another woman and that alone proves he has no sympathy for you! He has no love for you. He has no heart. He has no soul."

The vampiress walks to Jessie and gives her a small knife. "Hurt him. Make him bleed. Then, I will set you free. Do not die here for a man who has never truly given you his heart Jessie. Make him suffer."

B: When the vampire said Isaac kissed her it felt like a part of her was ripped out. "Yes, what he did was unforgivable and deserves punishment, but to be truthful we both have had our punishment for all our fights. I was gone four years. Four years of wondering when I would be able to return to him. Four years of pain. I know he went through the same pain as me." Jess said with pained eyes. Her eyes were on Isaac as she spoke.

"He had his reasons for kissing you. I will find out and I will forgive him, because that is what people in love do." She looked at the floor after she spoke. He had been treating her like a child and it annoyed her, but he would learn not to, hopefully. When the vampiress handed her the knife and told her what to do she looked at her with anger.

"You want me to hurt the one man on this earth besides my family that I would die for? Sure, he fucked up big time and lost 90% of my trust but that does not change how I feel about him. I would rather you kill me than hurt him. He is my other half. Sure, he fucked up, but all humans do. He does have love for me, but he does not know how to show it or how to control a lot of his feelings. He needs help. So, did I. I went to get help. Now it is his turn, but he does not have to leave. I did. I had other reasons for leaving besides getting help." She looked at Isaac. Her eyes looked into his. She did love him. She really did.

I: The vampiress tried to hide her giddy smile with her fingers on her lips. "This is...beautiful. Heartfelt. Touching and sweet." She chided and went to gently sit Jessie back down and she took the knife from her. "If you won't hurt him, then I will do it myself." She waived the knife around slowly, her hand drawing closer to Zack's chest. "You don't want to hurt him? You love him so much, that you will forgive him no matter what? That's truly a shame."

The Vampiress shook her head slowly in pity and she reached to cut Zack down from his restraints. He fell to the floor on his knees and began to try to get his breathing back to normal. His arms were so sore, from hanging there for so long, and his body was weak from the beating. "Get up, soldier of the lord. Halfling. What do they call your kind nowadays? Oh right. Shadowhunters." The vampiress laughed and suddenly kicked Zack in his body so hard he buckled to the ground. She kicked him again angrily and he began to curl up to block the hits from her boot. She bent down to grab his hair and she pulled him back up to his knees, the knife close to his throat. "This is why Shadowhunters must suffer rather than be killed so quickly. Because they are no longer worth the effort of torture. So, instead of making you suffer, we will simply even the playing field. And your sweet girlfriend who did not have mercy on your soul Zack, and kill you fairly, has just set you on a path of the worst possible death. Get up. Get her up now! She doesn't want to be late for the show."

The vampires yanked Isaac up to make him walk and the other vampire got Jess and made her follow them.

"I think this was one of my favorite vampire movies." The vampiress said as she led them down a dark hall to a room. The room was dark, and it smelled of mold like a cave. Below them was an empty pit, and there was screaming coming from the dark hole below. "You see, in order to teach someone a lesson, they took away their weapons that they so heavily depend on and made them fight to survive. The only difference here, is that you are simply fighting to stay alive longer, you will die eventually, Zack. We all do. Down there, is a demon we caught. It took a while, but we found one of the most vicious creatures this world had to offer."

She began to toss his Stele away, and she checked Isaac for his hidden weapons. He panted a little as she held onto him with her strength. "I know its dark down there, but you will be fine. Try not to take too long, Jessie is coming in after you. When I was first made into a vampire, I was tossed into the cold world without a single bit of knowledge on how to survive, on the rules, on what to do and not to do to piss off the wrong people. I had my first run in with a hunter when I was only a teenager. Naturally he told me the rules, and that if I hurt anyone I would be in a lot of trouble or killed. I fell in love with him Isaac. Just like you, and sweet little Jessie did. But you know what? It was a lie Isaac. All a lie. And from the day he betrayed me, I have watched him with a close eye. Now that I am free of his ridiculous love, I want to share my knowledge with the world. Starting with you Isaac. Here is my first lesson."

She walked Isaac to the edge of the pit and whispered in his ear. "Lesson one. Love, always ends in death, blood, and screams." She pushed Isaac into the deep hole, and he fell to the ground over ten feet until he caught onto the cave wall and hit the ground. Isaac was in so much pain when he landed, and it was so dark inside the cave that when he looked up, he could barely see the light.

"You're next sweetheart." Jessie said with a smile. "One Stele is all you get. I hope it can help." The vampiress gave Jessie the stele and she pushed her hard into the giant pit. Isaac's eyes opened wide as he heard Jessie be pushed and he quickly lifted his hands to help break her fall. He caught her, painfully rolling with her till the momentum stopped them short against the cave wall. He helped her up, his breath coming in gasps as he looked up to the Vampiress above them.

"Maybe this will bring you closer together. Good luck getting out! I hear it's a maze down there." The vampiress waved a hand and began to leave.

Isaac held onto Jessie, when suddenly there was a loud screech in the cave. He could barely see in front of him, and he gently pushed Jessie behind him. He wasn't sure what the screech was, but they had to climb out, or find a way out. "There's a draft, I just don't know which way-" He stopped as the screech became louder, and footsteps stomped toward them. A giant demon charged in the darkness, only its flaming red eyes could be seen. He slammed into Isaac and grabbed his body and tossed him to the ground. Isaac fought it, his body jolting from the strength of the demon that tried to rip him apart.

"Run Jess! RUN!" He yelled and grabbed a rock and began to hit the demon as hard as he could.

B: While the vampire was talking to her and Isaac, she was thinking of some way to get out. When the vampire tried to kill Isaac, Jess growled softly. She would somehow break free and kill this vampire if she so much as harmed a hair of Isaac. Sure, Jess and Isaac had rough times together, but she still loved him and wanted to be with him. When she cut the ropes to Isaac Jess hoped he would run. She would be fine on her own. As the vampire drowned on and on Jess thought she had lost her mind. She was rambling about useless things. MOVIES! Really? Jess thought to herself. She is fucking crazy! she thought.

As they walked Jess noticed a distant screaming. She looked around but the hallway was empty and had no doors. Then she saw the large black hole on the floor. Her heart sunk. This was going to end badly. When she pushed Isaac into the hole Jess turned to the vampire. "I GET IT NOW!" She yelled at her. "You do this because you're a lonely bitch who can't find love." Jess giggled rudely. "You are an unlovable slut!" She smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. But then she heard the vampire say she was next, and she froze. But when she gave her back the stele Jess smiled. Oh, it will help. She thought to herself. When the vampire pushed her, she readied herself, but she was not expecting Isaac to try and catch her. She fell into him and they rolled painfully.

"Fuck Isaac. I was ready to break my fall. Not have you catch me." She grumbled softly as she rose to her feet, but she smiled and hugged him after he rose to his feet. "But Thanks." She smirked. "She gave me my stele. We will be fine." She said drawing a light rune on her hand. it burned like hell, but they needed it. That was a mistake. She had turned her back when Isaac put himself in front of her. She had herded the screeching but thought light would help. When she saw Isaac under the demon, she quickly drew another rune to fight it off. She heard Isaac say run but she shook her head.

After the rune was finished, she pointed it at the demon and said a few words. Then the demon exploded. Still having the light rune, she rushed to Isaac and checked him for injuries. "Still think the Paris Institute is full of useless people?" She asked him and she helped him get up. They started to make their way around in the cave like thing.
