Chapter 0 - Earth is a perpetual hell.
"Another day, Another dollar" I sighed and repeated to myself as I entered my apartment after a long week at work, it was finally Friday, the start of the weekend and the only time I can manage to myself, Being an orphan and a recent high school graduate, working myself to the bone is the only thing I can do to ensure I don't end up on the street.
I started running my bath and observed myself in the mirror, 6ft tall, medium-length blonde hair tied up in a messy ponytail, well-shaped curves and modest breasts. I wouldn't call myself adonis but I was surely above average, I had been in a few relationships but nothing serious, I was never able to actually connect with anyone, even my friends fell off after school and now all I have is work acquaintances who I don't actually know.
After my bath, I put on my favourite pyjamas and sat down at my tv, my only comfort in this capitalistic hellscape. I put on my favourite anime One piece and relaxed as I immersed myself in the story of the Straw hat pirates and their neverending adventure.
Right as this week's episode finished there was a sudden blackout before my window was light by a random bolt of lightning as it snaked past my tv, showing the end screen of the episode for a split second before passing straight through me as everything went black.

Cuchillo Hi everyone, This is just a short introductory chapter to introduce the main character while keeping the earth stuff separate from the One piece stuff. I hope to see this novel to its natural end but I would not be surprised if I randomly drop it for a few months. Any feedback is welcome and I hope you enjoy.
