The Gray alpha, upon seeing Leo chase after its mate started chasing him with all its strength.

It does not care anymore! Leo can kill it for all it cares, Leo should just let it mate live.

It knew Leo's plan.

Leo's plan wasn't all that complicated, it was very simple.

Since the alpha loves its mate dearly, its mate will be its death.

He will chase after the mate with the intent to kill, and in return, the alpha would chase after him...leaving the comfort of the cave.
