Kapitel 189: The Unprecedented Attack

An astounded "Ah" left Douglas' mouth before the excruciating pain set in.

It was then that he realized what just happened.

Beneath his neck, across his collarbone, a horizontal wound had been slashed open. The resulting cut was so deep that even the white bones were visible.

Douglas let out a shrill scream. His pocket knife fell to the ground unceremoniously.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

The vampire was panicked. He tried to staunch the flow of blood, but his effort only caused the blood to splatter around.

A few droplets fell on Aiden's fair face and sunglasses. The latter wrinkled his forehead and wiped the blood away with his fingers.

"W-w-w-what are you???" Douglas stuttered in shock. "Y-y-you... you...!!!"

Aiden took off his sunglasses and cleaned the surface with a handkerchief. He then tucked them safely inside his pocket.
