"You asked him to resign and give up his shares?" Kim Ji-hun inquired as he turned to stare at his father.

He had been staring at the beautiful view from his office with a cup of coffee to calm his nerves while listening to him.

When he heard about how he had chosen to take care of the matter with his friend of more than 40 years, he was surprised.

"Yes," Chairman Kim answered and pulled out a chair for himself. He didn't have the patience to explain his reasoning or try to make his point well understood.

"You can't do that," Ji-hun said with a frown. "Why?" His father asked, looking offended.

"Even if you were to table this matter before the board, the only punishment that would be given to him, is for him to resign from his position and never to head any department or the company at large. I would say, you are taking things too far."
