Kapitel 124: Acting up

On the ride back home, Jang Ma-Ri was very quiet unlike other times when she was with her father in the same car.

Since she finished saying her 'goodbyes' to Kim Chae-Yeon, she hasn't spoken a word, even to her father.

She had just been sitting at the corner fuming in range while staring off into the distance.

For several minutes in-between the car ride, Jang Deok-Hwa would steal a glance at her before finally turning his attention to the side-view.

Today, he finally got a chauffeur to drive him, so he was free to be free.

Although silence ensued in the car, there was some unsaid words being exchanged by the father and daughter.

In Jang Deok-Hwa's mind, he was saying, 'Ma-Ri, didn't I warn you about setting your heart on a man that doesn't care about your existence? Didn't I tell you that you would get hurt?'
