Kapitel 78: Something in the air

"What?!" Kim Ji-hun exclaimed in surprise.

Now it was his turn to be confused.

For almost a minute, he was silent until Ji-Soo explained what she meant. "Didn't you see the receipts of the stuff I gave to you before wiring the money?" 

"I only took a look at their total amount. I didn't bother to look at the items on the list."

Thinking about it now, there were more than 5 different receipts that were handed over to him. Why would he bother to scrutinize them before wiring the money? It's not like she would cheat him.

But hearing learning that the receipt for the gift she had bought for Chairman J was included in the stuff he paid for, he was surprised.

"Next time, no matter who it is, look at the things they hand over to you before taking the next needed action," Ji-Soo advised.

"Not when I trust the person." He stated, meaning every word he said while staring at her.
