Kapitel 161: The Tang's future son-in-law

"NO! I don't want to involve myself with the Tang," Luke adamantly rejected Vince without letting Vince finish his sentence. His voice was hard and carried disdain. 

Vince was stumped at hearing Luke's adamant rejection. He narrowed his eyes at Luke and asked, "Why do you not want to involve yourself with the Tang?" asked Vince.

The Tang family was a prominent family in Cratia, most people would be thrilled if they were offered to work for the Tang family. The Tang paid their employees handsomely. Adding to that, they also gave a generous amount of bonuses to their workers during the festive seasons. 

"Why do you care? Oh, is it because you will become their son-in-law?" spouted Luke. He then sneered, "Of course they will want a son-in-law from a rich family like you. That would elevate their status," mumbled Luke in a low tone.
