'Too coincidental.' Nicholas stated while Lyle nodded inwardly.

'I agree, the question now is just what their plan is, and whether Eric is a part of it.'

'It would be dumb if he is, his sudden appearance and showing us a book that just so happens to explain the ritual that the enemy is using, it's simply far too obvious, anybody with half of a brain would notice it.'

'So the main question is what exactly the enemy is doing, is Eric truly one of them, or did they plant that book to divert our attention.' Nicholas stated with a solemn expression as Lyle sighed.

'Whatever the answer, one thing is certain, we cannot believe what we learned from that book.'

 'This just puts another layer of complexity on the entire thing, we can't be sure just what is going on, the enemy is definitely doing this on purpose, making us doubt Eric and the information he provides, which was quite the important part of our plan previously.'
