Away from the Song family mansion, Iodel and Ulon were standing outside of the capital, in fact, they were currently standing near the border of a forest, the same one they had left the elders in to deal with the formation pieces.

"What the hell happened?!" Iodel shouted in anger.

"Elder Quion's actions show that he is not on our side, what he has done is simply too much, neither one of us is connected to the serpent, but his actions have incriminated us right away," Ulon said as he leaned against a tree.

"That means that either the Elder has become a traitor, or that he has been replaced by one of Shade's men."

"Or Shade has turned him into his servant," Iodel added from the side, to which Ulon nodded.

"But the main question is when did he turn him, has Elder Quion been a traitor all this time, or has he only recently been turned?" Ulon asked with a confused expression.
