Lyle stood atop the city walls, overlooking the vast expanse in front of him, as well as the camp created about two miles away from the city. The rebel forces were in position, their morale high despite the high possibility of fighting against Duke Karswell and his forces soon.

Some time had passed since Lyle had arrived in the city with the rest of his forces, and the great war that was looming over the horizon was almost upon them.
