On the cover of the letter, one sentence was written.

It was obvious who the sender was referring to, as well as who the sender was. Harrison was actually somewhat relieved that Lyle was alive, as that would mean that Nicholas wouldn't 'visit' his family and kill them all, but it was not all good news.
