Kapitel 172: A Dangerous Gamble

The 'Carl' that Lyle had seemingly killed was merely a puppet. Carl's ability was called [ Puppet Master ], an ability that allowed him to create puppets out of soil or even corpses. Upon creating a puppet, Carl could mold them, making them look vastly different from their initial looks, including making them look exactly like him.

He had done so with the puppet that Lyle had killed. Upon teleporting, he quickly took out one of his puppets and commanded it to go a bit away from him and simply stand there in order to draw Lyle's attention while he would do his best to hit Lyle.

Upon seeing how Lyle was able to dodge his attack whilst still in the air, Carl was not discouraged and followed up on his attack with another one. He had a multitude of throwing spears with him, so he could afford to continuously launch them at Lyle, making the latter slow down.
