Kapitel 148: The Mysterious Facility

Lyle had previously thought that the people here were doing tests on the corpses, perhaps trying to see how some sort of poison would interact with a body, or checking the organs and complete skeleton of some people that had special kinds of bodies, and of course monsters.

But what the people here were doing was different.

They had some sort of scale, and they were checking the bodies and their compatibility with something, while also noting down how nutritious they were, and not only the monsters but the human bodies as well.

He at first thought they were cannibals or some sort of race like the vampires, but that was not so, everyone here was a normal human being, and none of them really seemed to show any sort of reaction when moving the dead bodies in order to check them and do all sorts of testing.

They were simply doing their job, nothing more, nothing less.
