Kapitel 72: An Eye For An Eye

"I'm here to see High Priestess Adrianna," Safira turned up at the gates of the Moon Temple a few days later.

The trip to the temple helped clear her mind. She had a clear plan and direction in mind. The first step to achieving her goal was to meet with the High Priestess. As soon as the Moon Maidens saw who she was, they immediately invited her in.

Safira was brought to a waiting room and was served hot tea and cookies. No one else came to see her until the evening when they brought her to her room.

Unable to take it anymore, Safira asked one of the Moon Maidens. As it turned out, Adrianna was busy preparing for a special ceremony.

"What sort of ceremony?" She asked out of curiosity.

"The Moon Goddess' Invitation of course!" A familiar voice informed her.

Safira turned to see Moraina.

"What are you doing here?" Safira gasped in surprise as she embraced her.

"Someone's mate told me where she went so here I am!" She chuckled.
