Kapitel 43: To Die For

"I feel the same way."

Safira didn't want to say it at first, but upon hearing Damien's doubts she felt the need to let him know too. Her gut feeling was the same as his. Before they continued discussing the matter, Safira had something to tell Damien.

After Elder Rosalie informed Damien about what the elders intended to do, she went to see Safira. She knew the Alpha would likely do what he could to protect Safira. So, she went to see what she would do.

"What would you do, Safira?" Rosalie asked.

"I will stay," She replied without the slightest hesitation.

"What if he tries to make you leave?" The elder asked again.

Safira's reply remained the same. She would do everything in her power to stay. The day she accepted that she was his mate, she vowed to always remain by his side. It didn't matter whether she was his Luna or not. She would be by his side, every step of the way.

"You knew…" Damien whispered to himself after listening to Safira.
