The ambushes continued, and as Hector had said, everyone calmed down because the mission was easier than they thought. There were three of these ambushes, and each thought that they hadn't encountered the main base because there was no tier-one Novatio member in sight, or at least nothing that looked like it.

"Dema Pandita inquired, "Hector, where do you think the main base is?" Her question stemmed from Hector's extensive experience within the organization, which irritated him slightly, especially considering Vioriel and Norzin's presence, who might discern his identity.

"How should I know," Hector retorted, though it was true that he harbored his own hypotheses.

'Given Novatio's focus on punishing nobles, their headquarters would likely be situated in a discreet locale to avoid raising suspicions among the nobles.
