Kapitel 5: First Day Of School, Encounter With Lynn Walter
Getting up from sleep, Keith checked his alarm clock and found that the time was currently 6:47 in the morning. His school would start at 7:30 AM, so he still had enough time to prepare himself.
"The integration was a success. I have knowledge about basketball that could even surpass those athletes as if they were just newbies. My art knowledge could defeat those who had sold their masterpieces for billions of dollars. Not to mention, I also have a decent knowledge about close combat, which could defeat a group of gangsters."
Keith marveled at the changes that he had noticed in his mind after the integration of the <Ultimate Basketball Player> and <Ultimate Artist> talents, including the <Street Fighting> skill.
"Not only knowledge, but I felt that my body could perform all of the knowledge that I have. So not only knowledge but also muscle memory. This system never ceased to amaze me."
Keith noticed that his body seemed to have changed as well since his hands felt like they could paint anything while he was confident that he could shoot anything in his hand towards the target that was within his range.
He was even confident that he had 100% accuracy when it came to shooting a ball onto a ring as long as he was stationary. So doing a full-court shot was a cakewalk for Keith, who received the <Ultimate Basketball Player> talent.
"The world I perceive seemed to become more vibrant. I never knew that the world was this beautiful."
Keith commented as he noticed that his eyes seemed to perceive the world with more clarity, unlike before. It was like watching 720p and 4K resolution videos. The difference was so huge to the point that Keith couldn't help but comment that the world looked beautiful to him.
Keith immediately found out that it was because of his <Ultimate Artist> talent. He could now perceive things in more detail while colors that were invisible to the naked eye could now be seen by him.
He could also tell which color was different despite the other color being slightly lighter than the other. The wonders that his <Ultimate Artist> talent gave him motivated him to keep it instead of the <Ultimate Basketball Player> talent.
In Keith's past life, he was never into sports, especially basketball which required him to move around. So it was no wonder that Keith preferred the <Ultimate Artist> talent rather than the <Ultimate Basketball Player> talent.
After Keith finished checking up and familiarizing himself with all of his talents and skills, he went to take a shower, and after drying himself, he dressed himself in his student outfit.
Looking at himself in the mirror, Keith couldn't help but feel that he would become narcissistic if he kept on doing that. After all, his average build transformed into an athlete's build after he received the <Ultimate Basketball Player> talent.
After admiring his appearance, Keith immediately went outside his house, and since his school was only a few kilometers away from his house, he decided to save his transportation money and ran to his school.

It only took Keith at least a quarter of an hour to arrive at his school. There wasn't even any visible sweat on his body, as if it was already accustomed to such movements.
After all, Keith made sure that he wouldn't sweat too much from running, or else his clothes would be drenched in his sweat.
Entering the school gate, the guard stopped him but later allowed him to enter after Keith showed his student outfit along with his student ID.
Keith casually walked around campus until he arrived at his classroom. As if it was a stroke of fate, he remembered that he studied in the sports department, and basketball, to be exact.
From his memories, Keith's alternate self didn't want to continue having a weak body, so he decided to take the athletic route, and it was just a stroke of fate that Keith was accepted into the basketball department. Since it seemed that Keith's alternate self didn't bother choosing which sports he would do in the sports department.
After arriving at his classroom, Keith caught the attention of his classmates, and most of them clicked their tongues in annoyance after seeing Allen's perfect appearance and excellent build.
If Keith only had a perfect appearance, they would attempt to bully him or make his school life a lot more difficult. But Keith's tall stature and his athletic build made them think twice about offending him.
Seeing the reaction of his classmates, Keith couldn't help but feel that his ego was raised to the point that he thought of his classmates as mere peasants.
Dismissing his arrogant thoughts, Keith took a seat that was adjacent to the class window as he peered at the beautiful world outside his classroom.
Little did Keith know, Lynn Walter, who happened to be passing by his class, was mesmerized by his appearance as Keith's golden blonde hair fluttered in the air.
Coupled with Keith's tall stature and athletic build, Lynn felt that her body was becoming hotter as she hurriedly ran away from Keith's class lest she couldn't hold herself back anymore.
'If only such a handsome and athletic boy is my boyfriend, life would be worth living.'
That thought entered Lynn's mind as she hurriedly went to her class, or else she would arrive late.
As for Keith, who was oblivious to that encounter, he absentmindedly stared outside the window as he couldn't help but feel that the world had become a lot more beautiful than before.
