Kapitel 211: The Lurking Prince

Just two years ago, Prince Elliott was invited by King Griffin into the palace of Greensville for an immediate, important discussion.

Since it was late at night before he decided to depart, King Griffin offered that he sleeps in the palace till the next morning. It was a quick decision which only a few members of the palace were aware of, excluding Princess Esmeralda.

Prince Elliott was appointed a chamber next to Princess Esmeralda's as all the guest's chambers were taken and a royal couldn't stay in the pack houses.

That same night, Sarah forgot to lock the princess chamber when she retreated to the royal maids' quarter.

The princess' chamber was always locked at night, to avoid the princess sleepwalking and ending up getting lost in the dark since sleepwalking was a remarkable habit of hers. However, due to her maid's forgetfulness, Princess Esmeralda ended up sleepwalking straight into his courtyard.
