"Do you think so, Your Highness?" Prince Rex asked and he brought out a scroll from his shirt. "Is this not the scroll you handed over to my brother?"

Princess Mariah's eyes widened as she saw the scroll she had given to Alpha Lucifel who hid it in his cloth. She leaned towards him and tried grabbing the scroll from Rex but before he could, Rex grabbed her by her waist and lifted the scroll up, "It's not that easy, Your Highness."

Seeing that she was resting on his chest and he was holding her waist, Princess Mariah Immediately pushed his hand off her waist and scowled at him, "What are you doing?"

"I have no idea," he said and dropped the scroll and hid it in his chest as the princess retracted from his hold. "You leaned towards first, I should ask what you were about doing, Princess."
