Martin Lux felt his limbs grow weak when he heard the reports about what happened after the Duke closed the portals. The streets of the entire continent now knew that it was the Duke who saved them.

How could he accept this?

"Someone else is trying to tarnish our name," Martin hissed. The one who spread those rumors didn't merely seek respect for the Duke. they must have aimed to ruin the reputations of the Seven Families and make them appear weak!
