Kapitel 262: That's not possible

Questions registered on Salma's face when she caught sight of Celeste and Veron walking out of the house while she was returning from seeing Cozan off. 

"Where are you two going?" She probed, coming to stand before them. 

The fact that they were walking together brought slight relief to her heart, and she should have just let them be. But her curiosity got the best of her. 

"We're going to see Elvis." It was Celeste who responded, and Salma's lips formed an 'o' shape. 

She nodded in understanding, not needing any further explanations. "Alright then." She left them alone and walked into the house. 

Going to Elvis's cave with Veron could only mean one thing. Things were moving in a positive direction between them. That knowledge alone brought a lightness to her heart, taking away some of the heaviness brought on by Cozan's announcement.
