"Veron, I know you are angry but you should at least listen to them. Listen to what they have to say." Mrs. Anthony said to Veron.

The council members who were dismissed yesterday were back the next morning seeking to have an audience with Veron, but the latter said he wasn't interested in whatever their reason was for coming to his house.

"I know what they have to say and I know why they are here. Also, I'm sure you all know about it because this blabbermouth here would have spilled everything to you.

"You really do not want the throne?" Mrs. Anthony asked in a resigned tone.

"Yes, mother. I don't want it. I don't want anything to do with it."
