It was not yet five the next evening when Nori started pressuring Karina to start leaving for Veron's house.

Last night, Nori surprised her. After telling her the story behind the gun in her bag, instead of being worried, the girl was excited. The only aspect Nori was worried about was the part where people might target Karina or want to hurt her. But the worry wasn't even as serious as Karina expected.

She had pressured Karina into teaching her everything she learned, and couldn't wait for more, as she revealed that was one thing she had in mind to learn after school.

Bowing to the pressure, Karina finally left the hostel and headed to Veron's house just a few minutes before five.

This time when she knocked on the gate and the big man stepped out, he just greeted her and ushered her in without any unnecessary questions. He even flashed her a small smile, which disappeared in no time as if it was never there.
