Kapitel 224: Expressing her gratitude

They were both in the jeep quietly going back home but each seem to be in deep thought after what aunt Jeddy said to them.

She was just trying to be nice and invite them to their festival and they didn't think much because Lai and Gold were husband and wife.

Whatever decision taken can be easily agreed but it was not as easy as they thought, Lai wanted to go to the festival but didn't know how to express that to Gold.

Also Gold was afraid to agree as he didn't know whether Lai wanted to go or not it was difficult to agree as he didn't want to impose on Lai.

They were quiet until they reached home in fact they had been quiet since the previous night while Gold left early Lai purposely got up late and hadn't seen each other until now.

Suddenly the jeep made a break and stopped that they both looked at each other.

" what's wrong?" Lai asked as she looked at Gold who was the one in control.
