As the two groups stood facing each other, tension filled the air. Jack Wesley, accompanied by his well-armed men, had finally arrived at the designated meeting point where Belle Pitcher's men, equally armed and numerous, were already waiting. The atmosphere was tinted with the intent of well-armed and ready blood-tasty men.
Steve, Belle Pitcher's brother, stepped forward to address Jack. "Jack Wesley. You're late," he remarked with a hint of annoyance.
"We have the whole of the next night to wipe out the Malos. I had to prepare my men," Jack responded confidently, attempting to justify his delay.
"It's already past one. Now that you're here, let's move out," Steve insisted, his impatience evident.
