Kapitel 156: Spell of Replication

Lauren stared at Alec in awe. He sounded so evil and cruel… and she felt guilty that it made her heart flutter.

Darkness followed Alec like a shadow. It was a part of him, and she found it ironic that for her, his presence was as warm as the sun. His eyes were grim and soulless but whenever his gaze fell on her, they became gentle and tamed. He exuded violence and dominance, but every time they were together, he was giving her power to rule over him.

From the start, he never hid anything from her. He showed her all his sides, the good and the bad. And she knew it was not an easy thing to do.

The longer she stared at him, the more her heart hurt. 

Here was the man willing to give her all the love she deserved… only that she didn't know if she even know how to love someone properly.
