Kapitel 26: Chapter 25: Back at home
With the announcement that all players would have a week break starting from the day after they are eliminated from the world cup, players that participated in the world cup are expected alongside us for training when we return to Carrington around noon.
As far as I am concerned the break are over and we need to start preparing for the commencement of the premier league and other competitions while trying to get our players into their best states asap.
To ensure the players have not forgotten all we've learnt a lot of time would be spent on tactical drills, meeting and bondings among our players.

When the players arrived at Carrington they were surprised by the states of things at the training ground with even some players that participated in the world cup claiming that it's better than what was provided for them at the new training ground for their use during the competition.
A week passed as so.The training was going along with the returning players surprised by the new level of emphasis placed on their technical training with almost all of them having the feeling that they have improved at least a bit and the younger ones even feeling it more, the time for the carabao cup match against Burnley is getting closer and closer with the boys ready for any level of challenges and announcing their come back with a bang.
As the match gets closer, more emphasis is placed in cooperation with Bruno who arrived yesterday, a day before his holiday finishes watching Erikson, Iqbal, Sancho, Garnacho and martial facing 7 defenders and being able to create some chances and take some.
So intrigued was he that he made an appeal to the boss to allow him to join, replacing iqbal to take their cooperation to a higher level.
It was in such state that the world cup finally comes to an end and the players gradually going back to their respective clubs while club competitions renew.
It is just less than a day for manchester united to resume their competitions with the match against Burnley with all players except Varane and Martinez not back at the club yet. And the boss is ready to announce his squad for the match.

The players were allowed to leave and go rest in the club dormitory, which after being renovated and brought to a 5-star hotel standard is being made as a must for players to sleep in a day before a match with the exception being when a match requires travelling a day or more before the match.

The pre match conference was held early in the morning whereby the coach is required to announce the players he plan to take to the match which van DER gaag did in behalf of Ten hag while the man in question used that time to debrief the players on tactics to be used in the game and announce the starting line up before it is announced later in the day.
The match keeps getting closer and the stadium is already almost full with people already showing signs of withdrawal (pun intended) and more still keeps pouring in.
After the players were done with their warm up and it was about time for the match to begin the stadium announcer started calling players into the field according to how they came in.
