Cheng thought he lost his hearing at that point.
Moving out? To where?
Haoran notices the shock on his face, but there's nothing he can do, neither is there anything that he'll say that will make him stay, so he should just take it as it is.
Haoran has been with him ever since he gained sight when he was a baby. They played together, did things together.
But when they entered inferior high, things started changing. He started revealing his true colors. And they weren't so beautiful as Haoran thought they would be.
"M- Moving out?"
"We cannot be together for long, Cheng" The voice of Haoran not even passing a shake. His face getting harder.
"In fact, we cannot be together anymore" Cheng felt his world collapse. The world he was so happy to rebuild when he was in front of Zhi Ruo, has fallen. Not even after a decade. After twinkles.
Suddenly, Cheng chortled mischievously looking down at the ground.
"I have gotten what I need from you, so yeah. You can leave"
Is that some kind of pick up line? Gotten what he needs?
Haoran smiles sorrowfully. Gotten what he needs from me. A bold and opprobrious thing to say.
Without uttering a word, Haoran turned and left, without looking back.
Cheng eyes began to grow wet. Agh! He felt like he lost something so important.
He raises the back of his hand to his eyes and gutted the gashes trying to fall from them as he turned to his side to see Ai Mi and two hefty men watching from a distance.
When the sight of Haoran was no more, Ai Mi and the man holding an marquee, and the other her wallet came out from the dark and retired corner they were standing and watching all this time. They walked up to Cheng who has been gaping at them with wet eyes.
"I thought women are the ones that cried" She raises her head slightly and gapes at Cheng from the edge of her red chapeau as she continues
"But what am I seeing?" Cheng could feel his lips seal. His lingo get ties with an insurmountable hot rope, thus, he stayed mute.
Ai Mi raises her hand and the man with the wallet drops the wallet in her hand gently. Ai Mi then stretches her hand to give Cheng.
"Go take care of your home and do not make a mess out of yourself" She whispers looking into the red eyes of Cheng.
"Still, he'd have chosen his mother over you" Cheng jaw trembles hearing Ai Mi say that,"If it were him"
She says it so confidently. He wonders how.
He took the wallet out of the hand of Ai Mi with an impassive face, but his eyes were still wet with gashes.
"Haoran has a lot he needs to learn. He has a life to live" Cheng swallowed hard hearing the truth. And he felt angry hearing it.
"Go live yours" Ai Mi gapes into his eyes for awhile before lowering down her face with her chapeau and turned to leave.
"Go to a place he will not be able to reach and do not..." Cheng closes his eyes awaiting the remaining words.
"Come back" Her words sounded more like a warning than an instruction. He felt his blood rise as he watched Ai Mi and her men walk back to the company in the hot, and scorching sun.
His eyes then fell to the wallet and he opened it a little to see bundles of dollars in the case. He generally felt excited whenever he was given a dollar, but now...
He felt depressed seeing a hundred thousand dollars
in his hands. He felt like he did not work to earn a penny of this plutocrat.
God, what am I going to do?

Haoran barges into the house and went straight to his room. He dumps the suit in his hand into the box that is extensively open, and started searching for his things and dumping them into his box.
"God!" He yells and fall unto his bed, face first unto his pillow.
"I can not believe this!"
He rolls on the papers on his bed, squeezing them sluggishly as he eventually rested his back on them. Well, he's gotten that off his neck so... That should be history now.
That interview is squinched! I know it! I can feel it! He sighs as he sits on his bed and loosen his tie, removing it from his neck and throwing it to the ground. His beautiful hair, now looking all rough and haphazard. His eyes went to the box that he has ditched all his things in. His cocky face looking calm and impassive, though he has so many feelings running in him.
Cheng.

Zhi Ruo watches the unwelcoming scene from the computer in her office. She had set up a camera on the suit of Cheng so that she will be alert about the outgrowth of their argument.
A gash slips down her eye as she watched Ai Mi walk down, leaving the helpless man standing there. Hopelessly. Is she even human?
How does she find it comfortable? Ai Mi has never bandied her history with anyone, including her so- called parents. The only thing they know is that she was espoused at fifteen, after a long time, being in and out of over 32 homes. Must be tough for her to be demurred out.
Perhaps that is what made her tough as well.
They say fire can only toast sword. Meaning she's the sword that the wild fire can toast and not melt fluently. Zhi Ruo sighs as she takes out her phone to text Ai Mi. But before she tapped on the caller's app, an announcement entered her phone.
It's Ai Mi. What a coincidence
"I want us to have regale together. Get Edward and Bella to come too" Zhi Ruo reads the message quietly, gradationally widening her eyes. This is unusual. She never goes out to eat with anyone in the company. Zhi Ruo incontinently texts back
"Yes, Miss" and sent it. She relaxes on her seat back and sighs deeply, thinking about Haoran and Cheng. A friendship since nonage has just been broken, yet Ai Mi shows no concern about it. She must have passed through a lot to cultivate such an attitude. Or perhaps she's just trying to play tough with them?
Even her espoused parents do not joke with her. That sounds lame, but it's the truth. No one does.
Ai Mi Bao.
Her name keeps ringing in my head but I don't knows
why. She....
She must be lonely right now.
