Kapitel 17: Fighting With Basilyx
It is not easy fight at all. The snake guard of the forbidden garden was huge enough. It's whole body was colorful like rainbow. The head was dark red, the hand and chest areas were yellow, stomach was green, legs were all indigo, hip and waist area orange, tail was fully purple and nails and claws were blue in colors. Its mane was orange, sharp fangs and mustache were white.
The huge snake was at least seven feet tall in height and three feet in width. It gave away of many fireball whenever it opened its mouth.
"How to defeat it?" Roma asked her friends.
"We have to seal its mouth first and then have to snatch out the diamond." Nick told her in whispering voice.
"What diamond?" She asked aloud. She can't control her shock here.
Nick pointed towards the Basilyx's forehead. A huge diamond was sparkling there just at the middle of its joining of eyebrows. "That diamond" - Nick pointed to it.
"But how??!" Roma frowned.
"There was no time to loose now." Mike this time answered her.
Cassandra was looking at her irritatingly. She despised Roma very much. Mike's talking with her bolied her blood to that amount that she could tear her apart in bare hands.
"Let us handle him. You too stay right here." Nick told her and indicated Mike to follow him who by silently nodding his head to Nick's direction tried to follow him. Mike knew Nick was much more experienced than him and he was merely a new-comer in this restricted area of forbidden garden. So he followed him blindly.
The huge snake was not standing still infront of them. He was hissing and firing fire-balls to their directions.
"If my baby got hurt because of you, I will kill you all by myself." Cassi hissed on Roma.
Roma looked at her in surprised eyes. She did not understand now who was more fierce the snake serpent or this love-striken Siren??!!!
Nick jumped over the snake's back and sat over it. Mike fearlessly stood before it. One of them wanted to distract it while the other could snatch out the diamond from it. However the huge serpent was not at all a fool. It understood their tricks very easily and threw a blue fire-ball from its mouth towards Mike's direction. He dodged it and used his clock to fly over it's head while using his wand to stop it to make a further attack.
The monster got angry. It shook its body too violently to shake up progressing Nick to its neck. Nick slipped as he was not prepared for this attack and fell with a loud thud sound on the floor infront of the serpent's first two legs. It stomped the ground to crash his bone but Mike was too quick to save him. He flew to him and took him with in his magic carpet with which he was flying on the sky.
"Noooo" - Roma cried aloud by closing her eyes too tightly in the fear of loosing her Nick. She at the same time came to the realisation that she had been in true love with him and could not be able to leave without him.
Nick's right arm was dislocated from his shoulder by that fall and he was in constant pain when he heard his mate's cry of despair. "Don't worry for me, I will win the battle for you" - He told that to himself by gritting the teeth in pain.
"Are you okay, bro?" Mike asked him.
By nodding his head slightly he indicated him that he was alright. "Let us switch the roles. I will distract him and you get the diamond." He told Mike.
Mike seemed dubious about the sucess of this plan. "But you will be a soft target for him as you are already hurt by yourself. He can crush your bone at any moment." He told Nick.
He smile a little. "Let him think that. He don't know one thing, my little friendly brother, you should never mess with a 'Hurt Alpha'."
Mike did not understand anything but agreed to follow Nick blindly even this time. His gut feeling was telling him this time they could defeat this huge serpent with ease.
When Basilyx lowered it's neck to grab Nick's legs with it's mouth, Mike jumped over it's long neck and climbed easily to its forehead. How he did that he simply could not be able to comprehend at all. He was never an athlete in his life. Then how??!! May be the situation had such devastating effect on him.
Nick held Mike's wand in his hand and from it emerged a red fire-ball. The serpent with big crooked eyes were looking at it hypnotised way, when Mike inserted his two fingers into its joining of the eyebrows and effortlessly pulled out the huge diamond from it's head. With a loud shrill cry the serpent fell flat on the face over the ground which also disbalanced Mike too. This time Nick flew towards him in magic carpet and he with great force fell over it. Nick drew his sword out while Mike after getting up took hold of its wand once more by panting hard. Mike sealed it's mouth with sharp magical golden spear and in the next moment with a great force by swinging his sword over his head for several times Nick cut open it's head into two parallel pieces. The serpent died instantly while it's blood splashed all over it's killers' shirts. Both Mike and Nick were drenched in the blood of that snake and in this way before dead it marked them both as it's mortal enemy to it's decedents.
Cassandra let out a loud cry of joy and run off to her beloved. "Yippeeee"
She reached to them when the magical carpet reached the ground and drived straight in Mike's arms kissing him feverishly. He also reciprocated with same passion and hunger.
Nick enjoyed the sight a little while suddenly he became conscious about the absence of his own lover. Roma was gone!!! Where was she now???!!!
