Kapitel 22: 5th Simulation! Part-4
{Kōchiyo Village, Land of Fire}
{10:20 AM, 18 March 78 Yrs}
Hiroshi took a deep breath as he read the last paragraph, he was expecting things to change having Kabuto on the team, but he didn't think it would change this much, the wind jutsu that went past his team should be the jutsu that Orochimaru used to knock Naruto away, he remembered where he had seen the weird outfit that the 2 genin were wearing, their third member should have tried to take advantage of Naruto needing to piss at an unfortunate time to try and attack team 7.
'Why are we here though, did Kabuto somehow manage to manipulate which gate we would be given, and then we coincidently rushed into one of the two directions which would take us to Team 7...'
Hiroshi's thoughts were a jumbled mess for a moment as the simulation continued.
[Day 75: Your team held the ground for a bit before Kabuto suggested that we should group up and then maybe try to find the last member who supposedly used the jutsu that flashed by just now. It was a tense few minutes before you heard a scream coming from the direction from where the jutsu came. After a moment of indecision, Kabuto suggested that maybe we should check it out in case it was a Konoha genin that needed help, before the exams began it was decided that you would make decisions at critical times being the strongest of the three, but right now you were hesitating whether to...]
'Go and see what Kabuto has planned, if this happens in real life due to some things I have already done then I need to know everything that he has planned...'
[Day 75: After hesitating for a bit you nodded and your team rushed towards the scream, it took a few moments of tense silence before Ren waved his arms for you to stop... after a brief moment he motioned to follow, and at a slower pace you arrive at a clearing only to watch Sasuke being chased by a large snake while Sakura stood and watched, your team was now about 300 meters away and you had to stop Ren from moving forward, there was no way you would allow yourself to meddle in this, it was inevitable anyway. Neither will Kabuto apparently as he quickly spoke about hiding too, as the enemy seemed way too powerful Kabuto reasoned that if the Konoha team survives after surrendering their scroll then maybe he could help them with medical ninjutsu. So you watched as Naruto arrived, as he and Sasuke argued before first Naruto got his ass handed to him followed by Sasuke getting countered at every turn. The tense situation lasted for several minutes as Orochimaru marked Sasuke with the cursed seal of heaven.]
'There is no way Orochimaru didn't notice us standing there and watching, plus it was Kabuto that got us here, so maybe his plan this time to make sure Sasuke and his team pass is to make our team tag along under the pretense of helping fellow Konoha comrades so that at least Team 7 shouldn't have any accidents, it wasn't shown in the anime or manga but I'm pretty sure Kabuto followed team 7 during the second part of the chunin exam before accidentally stumbling to them when they needed help. There was no way Orochimaru would allow his precious lil Uchiha to go through the exam when his chakra was all whack and with a dead teammate in Sakura to carry...'
[Day 75: Your team stayed as Orochimaru gloated to Sakura about how Sasuke would come to him soon enough when he needed power, you motioned your team to stay alert, and you quietly discussed if maybe you should leave as there is no way he is a genin considering the jutsu and speed at which you just saw him move. But Orochimaru quickly started sinking into the ground and then he vanished from your senses, after another brief silence you turn to Ren who closed his eyes for a moment as he made a Ram seal and concentrated, you turn back to watch Sasuke screaming as he knelt on the tree before slumping against Sakura. It was with quite nostalgia as you watch the defeated forms of team 7 before Ren spoke that it was all clear and that he couldn't sense anyone around. You turn to Kabuto who nodded as if saying leave everything to him before you three jump towards Sasuke's fallen form. As Sakura asked in panic who you guys were, and Kabuto tried to calm the girl down with a frantic smile on his face, you rushed to the form of Naruto who was pinned to a tree with a Kunai.]
[Day 75: It took several hours of tracking as your team carried the fallen forms of Naruto and Sasuke to a safer clearing, Ren had a blank expression on his face while Sakura was still fretting over Sasuke who Kabuto was healing at the moment. There was a look of hidden amazement on his face as you notice Kabuto's glowing hands roam around Sasuke's neck and torso. It took him nearly 3 minutes before he spoke stating that Sasuke's chakra was severely depleted as it was fighting some kind of virus, but with his help, he should be fine by tomorrow. Naruto on the other hand has his entire chakra system destabilized, but there was nothing physically wrong with him. It took a few more minutes for Sakura to calm down before an awkward atmosphere spread. Kabuto easily took notice of the tension before he introduced himself to Sakura and Ren and you followed.]
[Day 76: Your team took turns guarding while you simply denied Sakura from taking a shift, stating that she was tired and not combat-ready. It was a tense night but it passed, you wanted to put forth the issue of maybe you should take the two of them and head to the tower so you can hand over the two and then maybe try to find a scroll of your own and pass the second stage. The panicked look that Sakura gave your team annoyed you but Ren quickly flashed through several hand signs indicating that he felt 3 chakra signatures closing on our location.]
'The sound team is here, did Orochimaru not tell them that there was a change in plan, considering Kabuto was here along with me and Ren, there was no way they would last long enough for them to be as some sort of test for Sasuke's new seal...'
