Kapitel 45: Forbidden Love

KYLE NODDED AND WALKED out of the room, closing the door shut behind him. Shiloh stood there for a minute before clasping his hands together and gazing around the room. There was a bit of an awkward silence that followed, neither of them knowing what to say first until Lucian decided to break it.

"I'm sorry it's so late…didn't really consider the time when I asked Kyle to pick you up…"

"You mean kidnapped me," Shiloh muttered.

"Again, my apologies."

"You know I'm not some damn lackey at your beck and call."

"I am very well aware of that."

"You can't just—we aren't together anymore. You can't just fucking kidnap me whenever you feel like it."

"I know…" Lucian replied softly. "I guess I just thought that…. never mind…"
