Kapitel 70: Tournament
Once all of the students boarded the bus and took their seats, the driver started the engine and entered the road.
"We should arrive in 2 hours if there is no traffic." Eve said to everyone before taking a seat right beside the giant Leo.
"..."
The bus was dead silent with most of the students there staring at Leo through the corner of their eyes.
"Wow, they're really staring intensely at him." Lilith said as she hovered above me.
"Well, he did change too much." I sighed.
Two and a half hours later, the bus parked in a crowded parking lot in front of a massive stadium.
Once the bus came to a full stop, the students and Eve remained in the bus until the teachers that had arrived beforehand showed up. Amongst these teachers was the Vice Principal, and he glared at Leo like a lion staring at its prey.
After talking with the teachers a bit, Eve brought the participants to the stadium to check in.
Sometime later, we entered the stadium, and Eve brought the participants to another room while the rest of the teachers and students went to their seats to wait for the tournament to begin.
Every school participating in the tournament will be given exclusive seating for the teachers and students that want to spectate the tournament, and the amount of seats given to each school are determined by their overall rank.
The check-in process was quite simple, as all they needed to do was show up.
Once the participants are checked in, they must wait in another room and wait for the tournament to start.
In a private room somewhere in the stadium, Lia Scarlet suddenly felt a shiver down her spine.
She quickly stood up and looked around with a puzzled face.
"That sensation just now… Drake?" She mumbled in a dazed voice.

Announcers announced the starting of the tournament.
By a lucky draw, the first two competiting academies were selected.
"First round will be between plump bosoms academy and big bottoms academy!! Academies please send the contestants to the stage."
Two contestants entered the stage.
The battle continued for almost ten minutes before ending in a tie.
It seems they can decide between bosoms and botto- AHEM! Forget it.
Next contestants entered the stage and tied again.
Soon the first day of the tournament ended without me getting a chance to fight.
The days continued but Eve didn't allow me to fight. Whenever I decided to go on the stage, she just stopped me by saying, "This is a small tournament between schools, not a deadly war. You can just fight Lia scarlet instead of these little childrens."
I agreed with her as fighting Lia was my original goal from starting.

The sixth day.
[Four Witches Academy] versus [Scarlet Academy]
On the sixth day of the tournament, the Four Witches Academy was finally matched with the Scarlet Academy, and it was even the first match of the day.
The audience went wild after seeing that their most anticipated fight of this tournament was finally becoming a reality.
The Four Witches Academy arrived at the stage at the same time as the Scarlet Academy.
"…" Lia's gaze was fixated on me the moment she saw me, and the tingly sensation in her body returned.
"Drake, I want you."
"It may not be today or even a year from now, but I will not give up until you're mine."
Match between me and Lia started as we both stood in front of each other.
After a moment of silence, Lia spoke, "You're not afraid of me?"
"Of course not. Why would I be scared of you?"
Lia took a few more steps forward until she was standing literally in front of me.
Her eyes glared into mine, and she spoke in a low voice that could only be heard by the two of us, "You're Drake, aren't you?"
"I am not Drake ." I said calmly. It wasn't a lie as Drake was just a fake identity I created as a adventurer.
"You're lying."
"Ting ting ting"
The buzzer resounded, signaling the beginning of the match. However, neither Lia nor me moved from our spot.
"I definitely am not lying." I said a moment later.
"You cannot deceive my eyes. I don't know why you're denying it, but it's not going to work on me."
"Oh? Is this how much you miss that Drake person?"
"..."
After a moment of silence, Lia spoke, "Why don't we play a little game?"
"The rules are simple. If you can defeat me, I will stop questioning your identity. However, if I win, you will tell me everything and become mine."
I scoffed, "This game doesn't seem very fair. If I lose, I will become yours. However, if I win, you will only stop bothering me. How is that fair even in the slightest?"
"..." Lia couldn't refute my words, as it did seem unfair to me, who was taking far more risks than she was. Atleast according to her.
"Let's change the conditions. If you win, I will follow yoir conditions. If I win, you will become mine for eternity." I suggested.
Lia pondered for a bit and then nodded.
"Ummm… Are you two going to fight anytime soon?" Announcer suddenly asked us, as it has been several minutes since the fight started.
"Sure." I said.
I then turned to look at Lia and said, "Alright, let's play this little game."
I and Lia distanced themselves from each other.
"Are you ready?" I asked her.
"Whenever you are."
"Then let's go!"
Both my and Lia's aura suddenly exploded, causing a powerful mana disturbance in the stadium.
The following moment, both of us released our magic spell.
As it was expected, Lia immediately used gravity magic to crush me.
"Space magic : anti-gravity." I casted to resist the immense pressure from the tier 4 spell casted by Lia.
Just the tier 4 spell was not strong enough so Lia casted another spell above that.
"Gravity well."
Space around me started to collapse quickly in the form of a bottomless well.
"Wind magic : flight" I immediately leaped to the sky with the support of anti-gravity.
Looks like this fight is going to be a real eye candy for the audience.
