Kapitel 69: Lilith's request
Sitting on the bed, in the room, was a humongous beast-like lumps of muscles.
This giant lump of muscles was none other than Leo.
(A/n: just imagine Yujiro Hanma with a baby face.)
"Ah! Oswald and Lilith, you're back?"
"W-We are, but what the hell happened to you?!"
"This? This is just the result of my trainings. I figured that I won't be able to defeat you in magic so now I am physical much bigger and stronger than you."
"..." Lilith floated around Leo with widened eyes.
"Now if you will excuse me, I have to go train my body more." Leo stood up and walked out of the door.
We didn't notice this before but the gate was triple the size before.
After Leo walked out of the room I rubbed my eyes and said, "If I could drink un-see juice right now, I would drink it."
"I don't know what that is but I would drink it too." Lilith nodded.

A few hours later,
"I'd like to make a request." Lilith said.
"What kind of request? You did help in the training course so I can do some help..."
"I would like to request for an increase in the mana supply you give me. I am currently taking about 100 mana from you every second, right? If you're willing to increase it to 200, I'd be over the moon." Lilith said.
"Increase your mana supply? I don't really mind since you've been really helpful, but what will that do? I thought 100 mana is enough to keep your soul healthy?" I asked.
She nodded, "It is enough. However, since I have the opportunity, I would like to increase the strength of my soul, which will increase the chances of me regaining my body when I have the opportunity. Furthermore, the stronger my soul, the more I can do to help you, which means more benefit. Of course, this is all up to you, and it is not like I am trying to bribe you or anything like that but if you help me, I will teach you a ancient magic spell."
"I don't mind. How much do you want to increase it to?" I said after pondering for a moment.
"I'm not asking for much. I'd like to receive 200 mana instead of 100, but if that's too much, 150 would do— Hell, even 125 would do." Lilith said.
"200 mana, right? I don't mind." I said a moment later.
"Are you sure you want to increase the mana supply to 200? If so, I will request for it through the Slave Mark." Lilith said.

"Accept." I calmly said.

Infinity after taking out 200 would still be infinite.
"Thank you, Oswald!" Lilith was all smiles as she could feel more mana flowing into her soul.
"Hey, Lilith."
"What's up?"
"Let's increase the mana to 10,000."
"Huh?" Lilith's eyes widened with surprise after hearing my words, not daring to believe her ears.
"Did you just say that you'll increase the mana supply to 10,000, or was I just hearing things?" She asked me for confirmation.
"You heard right. Ten thousand."
"W-Why?"
He smiled and said, "As you'd said, the stronger your soul, the more you'll be able to assist me, right? Also, it's just 10,000 mana. It really won't affect me too much. Furthermore, you are my best friend aren't you? Losing a little mana is a cheap price to pay if it keeps you happy."
Lilith's mouth was slightly open after she listened to my words.
After snapping out of her daze a moment later, a small but sweet smile appeared on her face.
"Thank you, Oswald."

"Accept."

"Oswald!"
Lilith suddenly flew at me with her lips slightly pouted.
"Muah!"
Lilith closed her eyes and kissed towards my cheek.
Before Lilith reach me, I rotated my head a little and her lips fell on mine. She hastily kissed, thinking it was my cheeks.
After a second, Lilith opened her eyes and jumped back in shock.
"Atleast say before you turn your head. Idiot" Lilith turned her face after a few seconds that she took to understand the situation.
"How can I say when someone sealed my lips with their's?" I said as I slowly traced my lower lip.
I have kissed shiba Miyuki before but kissing a vampire felt very different than kissing a human.
"N-No! I was just going to kiss your cheek as a repayment for all that mana!" Lilith retorted with a red face.
"Seriously? Who kisses their best friend as a repayment?" I smirked at her.
"Ah!! Just forget it!!" Lilith flew around with high-speed due to embarrassment.
"You always keep teasing me and now you are acting all embarrassed over a kiss?" I sighed and sat down on the bed.
"Even if I keep teasing you, I also have a Maiden's heart. I never expected you to directly kiss me, I was not mentally prepared." Lilith curled herself up in the air and hid her face that was bright red now.
"Well then... How about I kiss you again? Again and again until you get used to it?" I said as I held her floating body in my arms.
"Wh- Wha- Wha- No!!!" She flew out of the room.
"Well, the fun is all over now." I layed in the bed with a sigh.

Many more days passed by,
Lilith started to act more self-conscious around me but she quickly returned to her teasing personality.
I sometimes tease Lilith with a few words but her brain short-circuits everytime and flies away. She still need more time to get used to this.
With a wait of few more weeks, the day of school tournament came.
School tournament is a really important event where I will meet Lia again.
School tournament will be divided into two parts, knight tournament and witch tournament. There are 3 entries for knight tournament and 5 for witch tournament. Due to begging of the headmistress Eve, I and Leo had to unfortunately join both of the tournament. Just double work for me but it works anyways.
And thus, we boarded the bus.

Exams finally ended. They were not the best but were still well enough.
I also finished watching AOT and many more animes that were stuck in my watchlist for a whole year now.
Uploading will be slow these weeks because I am still watching many animes that I didn't get to complete.
