Kapitel 35: I died two days ago?
I am really excited for my journey in this new world but before that, I think I should wear some shirt.
I was shirtless the whole time. The reason for this could be my wings.
Usually the shirts should be in closets but the room I was in is actually completely destroyed. Even the closet in broken into pieces.
Looking at the broken pieces of closet, I decided to atleast check in the rubble if I could find any temporary dress to wear.
Moving some of the wooden pieces aside, I finally found a white shirt covered in dust.
The shirt was torn from many places but it was atleast wearable.
I picked up the shirt and dusted it a little before finally wearing it. The shirt was a much bigger than my size. My hands were completely covered under the long sleeves of the shirt.
My height was not much shorter than any normal teenager boy. It was the shirt that was too large for me to fit in.
Gladly it wasn't a short size shirt. As they say, it works if it's big but it's a problem if it's small.
After getting something to wear, I was finally ready to step in this new world.
I moved towards the door and rotated the door knob.
*Click*
The sound of door opening was heard as I pushed the door open.
The door opened up in a wide hallway.
The hallway was beautifully decorated with shiny coloured walls and painting. A few noticeboards were hanging on the walls with many papers upon them.
I walked along the wall of the hallway while admiring the beautiful architecture of this place.
After walking for a while, I suddenly heard someone's footsteps from behind me.
"Excuse me!! Please step aside, I am late for my exams!!!"
I turned back to see the person shouting from behind but before I could react, he immediately smashed into me.
Having a weaker body than before, I wasn't able to completely control my body and lost my balance. The person that smashed into me also started to fall over towards the ground
However, right before we were about to fall, we were stopped by someone suddenly grabbed our collar from behind.
While hanging from my collar, I took a glance at the person who rudely smashed into me.
Brown hair, black eyes, school dress... This person was none other than the main character of this novel. Leo magnus. The strongest mage in the future and the original saviour of this world.
Leo turned around towards the person who grabbed his collar with an angry look on his face and exclaimed, "What was that for? Are you trying to kill me?!"
"Hm?"
When Leo saw the face of the person that just grabbed his collar, he immediately calmed down, but he was still puzzled as to why he was stopped in such a manner.
Unlike Leo, I was shocked for a moment but calmed myself down and decided to look at the situation silently.
The person standing right behind Leo was a tall and beautiful woman with long, silky black hair and clear violet eyes, and her slender body was dressed like a nurse with a white medical lab coat.
"Miss Camille? Sorry, but I am going to be late for my exam. If you have something to tell me, I will meet you in the infirmary afterward."
Leo ignored the look of disbelief on her face and turned around.
However, he was unable to go anywhere, as Miss Camille still had her grasp on the back of our collar despite Leo trying to break free.
"Why are you doing this to me, Miss Camille? Did I offend you somehow? I don't remember doing so, but if I did, I apologize! I will even clean the infirmary for a week! Please, just let me go for now! I really cannot be late to this exam!" Leo begged her in a desperate voice.
After a moment of silence, Miss Camille finally spoke in a low voice, "You both… Are you really Leo and Oswald…?"
"Of course, I am Leo! Who else would I be? I know my eye is a little swollen right now, but I swear that I am Leo!" Leo shouted he began worrying if he had been beaten so badly that his face became disfigured and unrecognizable.
I just simply nodded at the question of Miss Camille.
After another moment of silence, Miss Camille spoke in a grim voice, "Follow me!"
And without waiting for our response, Miss Camille began dragging us away.
"W-Wait! Where are you taking me?! This isn't the way to my classroom! What about my exam?!" Leo continued to try to break free from Miss Camille, but her grasp remained on his collar, almost as though they were glued together.
"There is no exam today," she responded.
"Huh? How is that possible? I would never make such a mistake. Don't tell me that I actually slept through the exam and I had skipped a day?!"
However, Miss Camille did not respond to him, and she continued dragging him until they reached the infirmary.
After locking the door, she said, "Stand still."
And without further explanation, she stripped us to our underwear.
"Miss Camille?!" Leo was baffled by the bizarre situation while I was just biting my tongue to endure the situation. I had to pass this situation if I want Miss Camille to have faith in me.
After stripping us to our underwear, Miss Camille would spend the next few minutes silently staring at Leo's body, even circling around him.
It was incredibly awkward for Leo, but he trusted Miss Camille, so he patiently waited until she was finished.
After checking Leo, Miss Camille looked at my body but moved her gaze away with a slight blush on her face. She then again focused on Leo.
"You have the same body structure as Leo, you look like Leo, and you even sound like Leo…" Miss Camille muttered to herself with a puzzled look on her face.
"Because I am Leo!" He said with a confused frown.
"No, you're not Leo. You can't be." Miss Camille shook her head.
"What are you talking about?"
"You may have the same body structure as Leo, but your body is 'ordinary'. The Leo I knew had a much more refined and robust figure. You may look like him, but you don't give off the same feeling as him. You may sound like him, but you don't speak like him at all." Miss Camille said.
"Last but not least… Leo is dead. He died three months ago. You too, Oswald. The Oswald I knew... died two days ago."
