Kapitel 496: I Thought it was an Apple

Benedito had been a grumpy slouch ever since we had left the hospital. His lips were in a permanent pout which just made him all the more adorable to me. Bosoms was due for surgery in a few hours and would be staying overnight for a few days before she was fit for us to take her home. 

She seemed extremely grateful when I went to say goodbye to her and I knew she would be alright. None of her injuries were life threatening but I wanted her to feel better immediately. It felt like the universe had sent me on a walk to find her and even though I knew I did not make a huge change I know for her it meant everything. 

"Do you want to get ice cream?" I smiled at him, hoping it would pull him out of the silent treatment he was sending my way.
