She wrote every verse of the piece, but the witch part and some of the details were simply added by her, because that song was inspired by Taylor Swift's 'I Did Something Bad' Bridge, the witch part.
Elivette, who was bad at lying and making up stories, told the truth, "It was from my dreams My Lord."
Everything went silent after she explained. She focused more on her hearing and she could only hear some shuffling.
Zequiel who was leaning on the couch, sat up straight, "I want to know the details of these dreams that you had."
It wasn't a request, it was a statement, and Elivette has no room to refuse it.
"I can't really describe what was happening with the dream that I had because everything was fuzzy. The only thing that I was sure of is that there were shadows and there was a woman. The woman fought the other kind that was coming after them, but then she was caught." Elivette explained without hiding anything.
The dream didn't really mean anything to her so she wasn't afraid to tell the details about it. What she was curious about is that, why is it that she can feel the woman's emotions like it's hers?
Because of her curiosity, she did not think twice to ask, "However, I sense that it isn't a typical dream since I can feel the woman very clearly, as if we are one and the same. Does the Lord know why?"
Zequiel who was still thinking about the details that Lady Rose had given him, tilted his head in question when he heard her words, "What made you think that I might know the answer to your question?"
Elivette, who had no idea of the identity of the man in front of her, continued, "You wouldn't be here if the piece had no meaning to you, so I assumed that you might know about it."
This time, Zequiel couldn't help but chuckle with what the Lady has said.
She had hit the nail right on it's head.
"It has meaning to me more than you could ever think of Lady Rose." He answered.
Elivette couldn't help but ask, "And why is that My Lord?"
Before Zequiel could answer her, she continued, "I just want to ask as this might be connected to why I'm having it, especially since I only got this since I tra—" Elivette was gonna say that she only got the dream since she transmigrated in the novel, but remembering that she's not supposed to tell people about her transmigration, she changed her words, "—travelled here."
"I will be honest with you Lady Rose, and I expect that you'll do the same." The man said so, which made Elivette a bit nervous as it sounded like a warning in her ears.
Lady Rose nodded, saying, "My Lord, you don't need to worry about that. I'm someone who reciprocates what I receive."
"The fate of this kingdom might lie on the dreams that you're having, or perhaps on you." Hearing the man's explanation made Elivette's heart heavy.
She never expected that her dreams would be that important.
"I want you to tell me every detail of the dreams you'll be having from now on, as I can't infer anything from that short description of yours."
'What?' Elivette exclaimed in her mind, taken aback by his request, or rather his statement, because she knows the man will take 'no' for an answer.
"I'll leave a few of my people behind in Bare Elegance, and you can hand him a letter regarding your dreams."
Elivette gathered her courage to refute, "My Lord, what you're asking me is out the scope of my work as a flower here in Bare Elegance. I do not have any obligations to obey your request if it's not about performing."
She does not wish to become involved in the Kingdom's many issues. She only wants to leave and figure out how to return to her world.
Elivette, who had her eyes covered, heard the man once again chuckle in a sinister tone, sending shivers down her spine, "As a citizen of Phassis, you do have the obligation to follow anything I ask you because you are under my protection as a Major General of our Kingdom."
Elivette felt her heart sank when she heard his words.
'Major General? Does that mean the man in front of me is no other than the Prince of Phassis Kingdom? Zequiel Phyrros?'
Elivette, who had previously felt safe when she knew someone was in the room with her, now feels that being alone would have been preferable.
'Did I just decline a request from a Prince?
A Major General at that?
And it was a request for the Kingdom's safety?
What would he think of me now?
He wouldn't just pull out his sword and kill me, right?'
"Then I'll grant any request of yours as an exchange Lady Rose." Zequiel suggested when he noticed that the woman seemed stiff after his statement.
As what he had thought, she might be the person he's looking for, and he does not want their relationship to strain right from the start.
"I understand My Lord, I'll do as you said." Elivette nodded in agreement.
That request could be the key for her to go home.
Maybe she can ask him to get a Numen and try its magic on her so she can go back.
Zequiel got to his feet after everything had been resolved. "That would be all, Lady Rose. I sincerely hope you keep your word."
Elivette gave a nod.
Her body relaxed onto the sofa as she heard a "click" as the door shut.
She does not know if it was the presence of the Prince that made the air suffocating but now that he is gone, she feels as if she can breathe properly.
"What the hell just happened?" She exclaimed.
"If my dream really is the key to the Kingdom's Fate does that mean I can't just leave anytime?" She mumbled to herself.
She heard a knock and Penny's voice asking for permission to come in.
"My Lady, are you okay?" Penny immediately asked when she saw Elivette all laid out on the sofa, looking like a withered flower.
"Gosh, I didn't know those dreams were that important." Elivette complained in a small voice as she massaged her aching forehead.
"What dreams My Lady? Of course dreams are considered important because only Numens get to have them and no ordinary people can."
