Kapitel 234: TREASONOUS LIAISON - PART 4

I want to say sorry for not posting a chapter last night. We have had terrible storms here overnight that left us without power. I had to go to a cafe this morning and finish this one. I will resume with double-chapter posts this evening as long as get power back. 

The Lord's eyes softened and trembled as he stared into Rose's golden eyes. He saw fear and hope in her gaze simultaneously.

Fear that this was another nightmare that would come crashing down on her and hope that maybe she was wrong and he would know the words.

  He didn't make her wait any longer and spoke…

"Rose, how could you have lived so long and doubted that no one would ever love you? I do not need to show you how to love my little Lark. You already know what to do.
