Kapitel 216: Lava monster

Alex took off into the air ignoring the wind such an act created as he knew they might not have time to complain about the mess it would make. From high above the ground the seriousness of the issue became much more clear. In the far off distance a great wave of ash , fire and dust rolled and rushed towards the town. Alex very much took exception to that and charged towards it while blast his [Tenshou] at full bore. Violent winds , clouds and rain formed overhead immediately for several miles before clashing with the rapidly approaching wave of destruction.-

The folks of astera were surprised at the sudden violent shift in weather but those aware of Alex's [Tenshou] knew that the situation must be worse than anticipated if he released such a destructive power near astera. Alex charged into the wave of destruction causing his self formed hurricane to push back the wave of destruction slightly. The problem however was that like most waves there was an entire surge of power bringing up the rear. Had Alex not intervened the wave would have buried astera making it vanish from the world.-

Unfortunately Alex had to struggle for fifteen whole minutes before the wave finally began to disperse revealing the long path of devastation it left behind. Alex reined his power back in before wasting no time at all and rushed forward across the sky with now regards for sound. He may not have reached the speed of sound but he was going fast enough that a visible disturbance in the air followed behind him. The volcano in question was far inland past even the elders recess but not near the guiding lands at all. In fact there was a series of mountains cutting of the destruction from reaching as well.-

Finding the volcano wasn't difficult as it was alight with lava and thick smoke billowing from the top. Alex got near the thing and couldn't see or feel any elder dragons much less monsters in general. He didn't leave so easily however as he knew that some monster suppressed their auras such as the terrantoads that were nearly impossible to notice. Lowering his altitude Alex ignored the high heat before releasing his power once more using the rain and winds to clear up the lava and smoke. That was when he saw the problem and he was not happy with what he saw.-

At the bottom of the bubbling mouth of the volcano sat a very large and less than friendly looking monster. It was big enough that the volcano barely fit it and the only part visible was the serpentine head covered in magma except for a pair of blue reptilian eyes glaring at Alex. Despite this however the monster didn't leave the lava at all and merely shifted a bit on place causing the lava to shoot up towards Alex. The beast must have realized a big problem however when Alex took the hit and shrugged it off easily.-

After getting the [tempered] trait Alex's ability to resist his own elements skyrocketed to the point that he may not be immune to fire but he could shrug off lava without any trouble. The beast opened it's mouth revealing a large amount of blunt teeth before a thick stream of green colored liquid shot into the sky at Alex. He wasn't stupid enough to just sit there and let an untested elemental attack strike him and dodged to the side. It was a good thing he did too as when the liquid moved past him he could feel an extreme amount of heat contained within it.-

'Two can play that game.' he thought before the water in the air from his [Tenshou] being active began to stick to him and turn black as he created a massive thick ball of ink water that he dropped right un the monsters head. "ROOOOAR!" This proved very effective as the thing began to roar and thrash about in pain making the entire volcano tremble and crack before exploding as the monster broke free of it's confinement. 'This might be a bit troublesome.' Alex though seriously as the full form of the monster came into view.
