Kapitel 98: Anchor - (Storm's Point of View)

I turn shocked eyes to him. "Go back where?"

He sighs. "Storm. I need to go back and keep spying on them. But I have something to tell you first."

I grab his hand and grip it. "We can talk, but you're not going anywhere. You're staying with me...with us," I amend, staring at Makai as if daring him to disagree.

"You can stay with us," he agrees.

"You don't understand. I need to check in soon or they will be suspicious. The leader is there, and I've never been gone for this long while he's around. They have been suspicious of me since they-- never mind."

He stops his explanation as if just realizing that we have company.

"I don't care who is looking for you. You're not going back there," I insist.

He opens his mouth again to speak but shakes his head and repeats, "We'll talk about that later."
