Kapitel 89: Hunters' Karma - (Storm's Point of View)

"What do you want?" Angel demands, sitting up to lean against me.

"They're hunters," I whisper, recognizing the silver ropes he is holding as the tools hunters use to capture my species.

"I know," he whispers back.

I try to summon my magic, but it is just out of reach. I feel it rising slowly, but it would take a minute or two before I can use it.

"My magic is messed up," I whisper again.

"Same. Hopefully, they're the all-business kind of hunters."

Wolf Hunters are trained humans who hunt young werewolves for their fur. They tie wolves up with their laced silver ropes and force a shift with a potion then while they're dazed, they cut off parts of their fur to sell to magic folk that use werewolf fur for potions. They usually shear off a piece and disappear before the effects of their drugs wear off the werewolf. The fur grows back over time, but once in a while, you hear about hunters molesting wolves and killing them after shearing the living fur.
