After giving Storm a quick peck on his lips, I walk to the tent. I hear some of the couples whispering tells that they will use to recognize each other and snort. I can't even call that cheating because what Storm and I are going to do is the epitome of cheating, and nobody will catch on.
The tent's interior is bare but fairly lit by two magical round bulbs floating above us. The only furniture there is a round wooden table in the corner where glasses of pale red drinks are waiting.
Two members of the pack warriors are awaiting us. They pass each of us a glass and watch keenly as we down it all. As we drink, the woman warrior tells us, "It will take about two minutes for you to feel the full effects. Once we receive the signal that your mates have been tied, you can start shifting and leave the tent as soon as you're shifted into your wolf and go find your mate."
We acknowledge our understanding while we keep sipping the red wine.
