Kapitel 60: Surprise - (Storm's Point of View)

Taking a deep breath, I pull the door open and gape in shock and awe at the sight that meets me. For a few seconds, I'm speechless.

What-?

"Kai?" I ask hesitantly.

The gorgeous vision in front of me grins. "You seem unsure, Sunshine."

Swallowing my tongue, I rake my eyes over him. I have always known that Makai is handsome, even gorgeous, but this man standing in front of me is captivating and breathtaking.

"Storm?"

I realize then that he has been trying to get my attention.

"I'm sorry, I'm just shocked. You look so- so- you cut your hair!"

He laughed. "Yes, I did. And trimmed the beard too. Do you like the new look?"

I nod eagerly. Do I ever! His hair is still long, but it has been cut to shoulder length, framing his face in elegant waves. His rough beard has also been trimmed into a shorter, distinguished look. I don't know what has been done to his face, but it also looks softer.
