Kapitel 34: Unexpected Discovery - (Makai's Point of View)

We all turn as one to the cell gate where Aris is standing. I have no idea when she arrived and how long she has been standing there.

It registers for the first time that apart from smelling like a werewolf, Aris has no distinct recognizable scent.

"Your Grace," Alpha Ben greets, inclining his head respectfully. We all mirror his action and straighten when Aris gestures with a regal hand.

"I don't think you will be able to get any more information out of him," she discerns, bringing our attention back to Bill, who is now struggling to speak but only succeeding in emitting gurgling sounds.

There were still so many questions we needed to ask, one of which is if he knew the mole in our pack. We lament our inability to get any more answers from our only source of information about whatever is going on.

The plot is turning out to be a lot thicker than I had initially assumed.

Well, since Bill can no longer be of use, it was time for him to go.
