Kapitel 251: Rae's Strength

"What? Did you think that you'd be able to eat me, little buddy?"

Rae picked up her pace considerably and began running at the giant earthworm faster than it was coming towards us. Her steps displaced the ground, indenting it as though a giant had passed by. She held onto her axe tightly and readied himself, pulling it all the way back. 

A wave of dirt and dust was picked up by the worm as it rampaged forth.

When the two of them were only a few meters apart, Rae's figure was obscured by that wave of dust and dirt. And from within, her black figure blurred. 

"Hyaah!"

For a moment, everything went silent as pain racked my body.

Hearing gradually returned to me in the form of a blaring ringing tinnitus. As it faded, a deep angered roar replaced it. I looked up to see the giant earthworm recoiling hundreds of meters in the air.
