Kapitel 24: Chapter 24: Party Night

Kinsley’s POV

It’s hard to picture a better night than this one. I lean into Terron’s chest, both of us just one couple spread out around the bonfire. Lucas, enjoying his single life, talks to some pretty-looking ladies while he shows them how to cook the perfect marshmallow over the crackling fire.

Terron hums a laugh against my head, kissing my cheek while we watch his Beta, a strong and powerful warrior, fail at cooking a marshmallow without it catching fire and melting off the stick. I hold back from a snicker, poor Lucas shooting us irritated looks from across the fire.

I turn to focus on my mate, kissing him tenderly like we are still back at home, in the safety and the privacy of the walls where we could escalate this kiss further.
