Kapitel 51: Entering a Dungeon(1)

(Fionire Duchy, the Holy Kingdom of Goldrose, Market Dustrict)

Walking through the busy streets in the evening as the lights in lamp posts and buildings that shine the streets of the city, giving it a majestic atmosphere, our two Irishmen were roaming around among hundreds of civilians buying in the market.

Seeing the numerous people going to and from between each store, Nogla by Brian's side couldn't help but feel his heart race at the extensive number of goods that shone brightly under the street lights.

Each one looked more tempting than the other.

"Oh my lord, this stuff I have never seen from Walmart!" Nogla excitedly said as he went through each stall one by one.

"Nogla, remember, we are not here to buy stuff, we're just passing by and getting to the adventurer's guild you know." His cyborg friend, Brian said to him as he looked around the streets boredly.

Several days have passed since the two have been in the city and becoming Adventurers, the boys have a lot of fun, just earlier after their third quest of killing 15 meter size centipedes in an area.

Arriving at a stall, Nogla went forward and looked at a slim necklace that had a purple stone imbued in it.

Terroriser followed his friend and looked at the necklace that Nogla saw, he then used his robotic scannings to see the information in it.

=====================================

Name : Necklace of Tranquility

Class: Low (G–)

Description: Allows wearers to have better sleep.

Cost: €3000

=====================================

With the aid of his robotic scannings, Terroriser could see the detail of each artifact he glanced at, making it easier for him to know if that is shit or not.

'This could indeed be useful for someone like business working dudes, for me... nah, I don't even need to sleep.' Terroriser thought to himself, being a half machine, he might not need to sleep as he doesn't feel like it.

"Hello, how may I help you?"

Calling out the stall owner, a male who has long black hair that hides his eyes.

"How much is this?" Nogla pointed at the necklace and asked

The stall owner paused for a second before saying, "That necklace? 3000 Euros."

"..."

Looking at Terroriser for a moment, Nogla tilted his head to the side, Brian got the message and the two went to the next stall.

Noticing them leaving, the stall owner tries to call out for them. "Um, hey, you want to buy this right?"

"Sleeping was for the weak!" Terroriser yelled out, insulting the man.

"3000 Euros my ass." Nogla muttered.

"Talk about daylight robbery, man." Terroriser said to Nogla, "Although the effect was kinda good, there's no way in hell that a fuckin' G-rank Item was worth that much!"

Trying their best to forget about this accident, the two ventured into the Guild.

As the two were walking, Terroriser looked at the number of certain stalls that had some interesting items up for sale.

Though he knew somewhere interesting, he already has a market to buy stuff, his Addon Shopping System of course.

But still, he gets curious and zooms his cybernetic eyes to see the items closely then scans the info about them.

The first one was a slim straight blade with black aesthetic patterns deeply etched on the main body of the blade.

While he can't tell how sharp the blade is, his scanning shows that it is made with high-quality steel with incredible sharpness coming from the sword that made it seem like it could cut anything.

=====================================

Name: Silver Edge

Class: Mid to High (F+ — E–)

Description: An extremely sharp sword that can easily cut through any toughest metal such as Tungsten. (It can't easily cut through other stronger metals like Mithril or Adamantine.)

Cost: €5,999

=====================================

'Such a fine sword, expensive but still good, but nah, I'm more like a gun person.'

Next stall he spotted seemes to sold things like rings, bags, pouches, etc.

While it seems like a simple store, Brian feels there is something more to it so he scans one of them.

=====================================

Name: Storage Bracelet

Class: Low (G+)

Description: A common Item that stores items inside of a pocket dimension. Being a low-level Item, the inside ranges over 5 cubic meters.

Cost: €2000

=====================================

'Dear god! Spatial Technology?? Those Items seemed so advanced than any Earth's technology and shit. Elon Musk might envy whoever made these.'

While it seems to be a good Items to buy, Terroriser and Nogla already has their own Dimensional Storage like their Minecraft Inventory that can hold 1728 Items, small or big, even they can held a Shulker Box and an Ender Chest that holds another thousand more, so buying those are no use for them.

'Items messing the laws of space and time, I wonder if there is devastating incidents happened with it.'

Finally ignoring the Markets and interesting Items around them, the two then ventured towards the Guild.

———

After looking around the markets for a short while, Terroriser and Nogla sprinted toward the Adventurer guild.

As they made it into the front, Nogla kicked the door open, the two entered and like usual, on an evening like this, the first floor is full of Adventurers. Some came back from missions and delivered the proof of subjugation before sitting at the bar to have a drink. Some were already there for a long time drinking, while a few others were simply chatting. And when they saw somebody enter, they all turned their attention toward the newcomer.

However, after seeing that it was the two, the newcomers, they resumed their activities. There were few among them that wanted to invite the two to join them, at first they wanted to, however, they were planning something more than drinking and getting drunk so they moved toward the receptionist counter.

Suddenly, Terroriser spotted a group of five men sitting in a corner drinking and chatting happily, however when they saw him and Nogla, the atmosphere changed and now they are glaring at him and his friend.

"Seriously, what with them giving us the stink eye?" Terroriser asked.

"Well if it's about me, they could be jealous of my penis size, I have slept with their mothers or my dick is too big, and the list goes on and on." Nogla replied to him with a snicker.

"Haha! Good one but seriously what's with them?"

Although Terroriser doesn't know much about everyone in the guild, he does know this group a little, it's a group of beginner adventurers, their leader is an E-rank Adventurer while the remaining three men are only F-rank Adventurers like him.

The two had never interacted with them, nor offended them before, yet they were glaring at them as though they were their nemesis.

"Should we ignore them?" Nogla asked.

Terroriser nodded. "Maybe."

Being ignored by those cocky bastard newcomers. This group of men vowed to teach the two a lesson later.

Not knowing that they had planned to teach the two a lesson because they were displeased with them, Terroriser and Nogla went toward the receptionist counter. The same Harpy woman that calls herself Raphael was explaining something to some adventurers, all of them were male, they ogled at her mature body not hiding their desire, yet she didn't lose her smile and continued to perfectly explain things to them.

''Sigh! As expected of a professional. I bet if I were in her shoes being stared lecherously like that, no matter how much I'll try to maintain my smile, I'm sure that I couldn't do it so perfectly.'' Nogla murmured his arms behind his head.

"You are right, man. However, you can not feel anything if you are being stared at by an ant. No matter how lecherously he looked at you, you'll not care." Terroriser spat out.

''Oi, don't you think that analogy is a bit too much? There are humans, not an ant.'' Nogla admonished his friend.

"Say the man who is smiling as though you had won a gamble. Do not lecture me when I have robotic eyes, seeing your little dark side as bright as day in my eyes. You're clearly enjoying it." Terroriser retorts.

"Yeah, yeah, fuck you and fuck your buttic powers." Nogla turned his head and headed towards the receptionist, followed by Brian.

"So kinda hard isn't it?" Brian asked, lowering his sunglasses with a smile.

Raphael tilted her head to one side before responding, "Not really, it's fun to watch them try to dream about something they could never possess. Fufufu it's really fun."

Seeing her laugh like that, the two couldn't help but feel pity for those poor souls.

"Okay that aside, how are you guys today?" She asked them.

Nogla replied. "Oh you know, scammers and their expensive products."

"Ah yes, I've heard about those." Raphael nodded with a frown, before looking at the two with a bright smile. "So anything you like? A quest? Or..."

Cutting her off, Brian spoke, "We heard you guys kept some like dungeons in this place around."

"Oh, the dungeons, we kept them around, follow me."

Raphael nodded at the two before gesturing to them to follow her to the second floor.

Arriving on the second floor through a Teleportation Magic platform, which astonish Terroriser and Nogla, even Nogla who almost threw up by the spatial sensation he felt for the first time, the three were in an underground floor and stood in front of a metal door that seemed more secure and robust than the city gates.

Curious, Brian scans the properties of the metal door and to his surprise, the doors are made out of high-quality Prismatic Ore.

What he knew about Prismatic ores is that they are highly grade and extremely valuable minerals that were found in various locations in Fordalt. They were metals that were regarded as even more valuable than the likes of something as Adamantine. They are highly valued in the market. Any Market Guilds had plans of letting the prismatic ores trickle into the market, hoping to drive the price increasingly up due to their rarity it offers. However, such rarity have led to people scheming to rob it from owners of those ores.

*Bam!*

On the right side of the door, a small compartment opened up to which you could placed a card.

*Voom!*

As soon as Raphael placed her Identification card, a green light emerged from the bottom of the compartment enveloping her card.

*Diiii*

A couple of seconds after the green light disappeared, the three heard the sound of a ring coming from the compartment indicating to them that the scan was complete.

Taking her card back, the metal door started rumbling before slowly opening up.

*Vam!*

Entering the room, Terroriser and Nogla were instantly stunned.

A luxuriously decorated hall, where at the front stood a stunning reception counter made of a mixture of wood and marble. Various receptionists tended the guest from behind the counter, and a faint citrusy smell lingered in the air.

It seem resembled a palace created for the king of an empire.

Clean white marble floor, silky red carpets, gold-coated lamps, neatly sculpted desks, this place had everything.

This was what true luxury looked like.

In front of them, they could see a large number of Adventurers, one seem to have a knight helmet and an orange cape, a male with red hair, blue cloak that covers his mouth and arms wielding a red and a white dagger, and a pink ponytail female mage with brown cloak and a brown witch hat.

"Though you guys can use your identification card to enter this room, hope you'll be safe in the dungeons sweety."

Giving Nogla a wink, Raphael left the room.

Looking at Nogla weirdly, Brian asked. "Why the hell she gave you the thirsty look? Nogla, did you do something?"

"What!? No! I didn't do shit!"

"Riiiiight..." Terroriser nodded, still feeling suspicious at his friend.
