Kapitel 44: Trust me

Her teary emerald eyes twinkled with desire and confusion, neither of which came from the mark.

She was flushed, weak, and paler than usual. Her cheeks were rosy pink, and her lips were quivering.

Cyrus didn't understand himself, but he was drawn to her and wanted to hold her forever.

At that precise moment, Julius stabbed her, he was in his dark state, but he felt his heart, which was supposed to be eternally frozen, skip a beat and he felt fear for the first time in his life.

The woman was making him feel things he'd never felt before. It was frustrating!

"Why are you so stupid?" He asked with disappointment and Sage who thought everything had calmed down between them frowned.

"Excuse me?" She asked offended.

"You actually thought that since you no to reason to kill me, you will break of this marriage didn't you?" Cyrus asked, his voice hard.

Sage stared at him blankly.
